90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi have been through plenty of ups and downs this season; but did they get married? After a tumultuous run on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans weren’t sure what would happen for this couple. Luckily, we got to continue their journey on Happily Ever After? this year.

Angela and Michael’s relationship has been full of ups and downs. Angela has had major trust issues after learning that Michael had cheated on her at the beginning of their relationship. This led to many fights and Angela’s temper running high. On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Angela traveled from Georgia to Nigeria to meet Michael after they began dating online. The age difference between the two has made fans skeptical; Angela is 54, and Michael is 31. There have been rumors that Michael is scamming her as a result. On this season of Happily Ever After?, the couple has been planning their wedding in Nigeria after Michael failed to obtain a K-1 visa. Angela had her heart set on getting married in the US so that her mother, who was in poor health, could attend the wedding. After tiffs with Michael’s mother and concerns over fertility, Angela’s mother passed away just 12 days after her wedding as well. However, Angela’s rough season on the show led to what she and Michael had been dreaming of; they were married in January.

According to an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Angela and Michael are still a happily married couple. The wedding was filmed in Nigeria in January and will be aired on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Pictures from the couples’ wedding were released earlier this year as well. Angela seems unconcerned with fan speculation and rumors, and says that what she and Michael have is true love. She said to ET, “Getting rid of him is not easy. Because that’s real love, you know? Let’s face it, being on the show four times, he could have moved on a while back. I’ve learned that he really truly does love me.”

Angela also opened up about the age difference between them, and her temper towards Michael in previous episodes of the show. In response to fans talking about her weight loss, she said, “[Michael] likes me with my weight, but being older, I want to feel good about myself so I can myself feel good when I’m around him out in the public when he gets to the US.” A clip from Happily Ever After? shows Angela going to a twerking class and joking that she’s “trying to keep up with Michael’s age.” She does mention that since “he’s young and he’s from Nigeria” that he has a lot to learn. This leads to Angela discussing her temper with Michael, often seen on screen. “Reality is, I have pushed his buttons to the limit,” she says, “Any woman who has been hurt in the past--and not just one time, but my age--we’re going to be on guard. And maybe I’m on guard too much but at the end of the day, Michael can tell you there’s nothing I wouldn’t give him if I could.” Angela concludes that she’s learned from their fights over the years.

However, there could be more trouble for the couple ahead; Angela also mentions that she’s planning on having more cosmetic surgery and that Michael is against it. She already uses botox and fillers, but plans to have procedures done on her chin and rear end. They are happily married for now, but will it truly be happily ever after?
