The popular Annie Suwan Toborowsky’s different look on 90 Day Fiancé has led to a rise in rumors about her having had plastic surgery, and the Thai beauty is now addressing it. Annie became a franchise regular along with her husband, David Toborowsky, after her debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 5. The couple faced relationship drama due to various things such as his drinking, his opposing family, and money problems. But David and Annie soon became one of the most successful franchise couples. Things have changed for Annie and David in more than one way. David’s weight-loss story is inspiring fans, and Annie’s new face is creating waves.
It took David a few days to fall in love with Annie, but the fan-favorite couple has managed to stay together amid several of their peers splitting after going through turbulent times. One of the main reasons why fans love David and Annie is their transparency. Being completely themselves on 90 Day Fiancé and on social media has indeed helped David and Annie create a distinct fan base for themselves. Fans don’t complain about seeing David and Annie on several spin-offs as they might with other boring or problematic 90 Day Fiancé cast members. But Annie’s recent appearance on Pillow Talk has made her the subject of a bubbling controversy.
In May 2019, fans started to notice 90 Day Fiancé star Annie looking different while she was on a month-long vacation in Thailand with David. Annie and David were promoting a video about their upcoming Pillow Talk season in a post when fans wondered what was happening with Annie’s eyes. “What is wrong with Annie's eyes?” a fan had asked, and Annie’s reply was, “I have eyes surgery.” Annie told another fan who complimented her new look about how she was healing, as she wrote, “I just need a couple months for my eyes to get back normal.” However, Annie was accused of getting the blepharoplasty procedure done to abandon her Asian roots.
When someone commented that Annie wanted to appear “less Asian,” she told them, “I have an eyes problem and not thing to do with my Asian.” Moreover, Annie added that, in contrast, she thinks “Asian eyes” are the most beautiful in the world. In August 2020, Annie posted a stunning selfie captioned, “Oops New camera's is Great,” but fans thought it was Annie’s “new nose” that was making her look so good. Annie apparently didn’t respond to the allegations, but during an episode of 90 Day Bares All in 2021, 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson addressed the “little things” that Annie “tweaked.” David spoke on Annie’s behalf to address that his wife had her eyes done apart from a wisdom tooth that had to be treated. In April 2022, 90 Day Fiancé celeb Annie wrote, “lip injection has nothing to do with only fan no,” while slamming an Instagram follower who commented that Annie got her lips done to join OnlyFans.
However, fans have been talking about a possible buccal fat removal procedure, a chin implant, and neck liposuction, which Annie could have gotten apart from the double eyelid surgery and supposed rhinoplasty. Regardless, Annie has grown up and matured a lot since fans first saw her on 90 Day Fiancé in 2017 and is no longer the 24-year-old that David met in Thailand.
