Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has revealed where her relationship with Michael Ilesanmi stands after her weight loss surgery and divorce speculation. Episode 12 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off came as a major surprise to TLC viewers, who saw a different side to Michael after his interaction with Angela and her psychic friend, Tracey. While Michael seemed happy being single again after Angela broke up with him and showering him with abusive treatment, he also feared her divorcing him. But the question over whether Michael has since come to the United States and if he is still together with 90 Day Fiancé cast member Angela was revealed via her cryptic Instagram update.
When Michael strongly disagreed with Angela’s decision to get her secret weight-loss operation on the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 Tell-All, little did fans know it would be their storyline for season 6. The first few episodes of the spin-off showed Angela going to Los Angeles and flirting with her doctors as Michael threw hissy fits over her getting her breasts reduced. But after Angela got her gastric balloon surgery, liposuction and more, she complained that Michael had been extremely unsupportive and wondered if he was hiding something, making her want to hack his phone remotely. The 90 Day Fiancé argument turned into a full-blown fight as Angela got verbally abusive, and was rude and unapologetic with Michael in every scene.
But then again, 90 Day Fiancé fans suspected that Michael and Angela were somewhere faking the drama, possibly to give their storyline a much-needed kick. The plastic surgery plot wasn’t exciting to many; however, Angela consistently degrading Michael also backfired, with TLC viewers asking for her to get canceled or banned. Meanwhile, that may not be the case as Michael and Angela seem to have buried the hatchet and reunited, according to her latest Instagram post and Story. 90 Day Fiancé star Angela shared a photo of her little granddaughter on a video call with Michael to shock her 654,000-plus followers. The song “Essence” by WizKid was used by Angela in the Story's background, a screenshot of which she also updated as a feed post.
“Look @Ariah she loves her poppy,” Angela wrote in her caption, revealing that her grandkids lovingly refer to Michael as “poppy.” In the comments, fans showered the child with compliments, letting 90 Day Fiancé's Angela know how much Ariah looks like her by adding she was her “twin.” However, most of the other comments were from shocked 90 Day Fiancé fans writing things such as, “I guess Poppy is still around,” and asking, “Are you guys still together??” One TLC viewer asked Angela to pick a lane, before adding, “Either you want to party like you're a horny teenager or you want a relationship with your husband,” while someone else posted, “They made up. Michael apologized for how he wasn’t there for her.”
After Angela and psychic Tracey ganged up on Michael and alluded that the relationship for him was a “business” and that he was possibly scamming her for a Green Card, the 90 Day Fiancé star started to dance to another tune. Nigeria-native Michael not only said sorry to Angela countless times but also claimed she was looking much better than ever after her surgery, though he did not seem happy with her smaller breasts. Regardless, Michael and Angela seem to have gotten back together, so what happens next on Happily Ever After will be interesting to see.
