Angela Deem’s 90-day fiasco on 90 Day Fiancé gave her many seasons on the TLC show and its spin-offs. Angela who was first introduced when she flew from Georgia to Nigeria to meet her Michael, also landed up in the fan-favorite list of cast-members. While her unmissable personality also got Angela a few haters, TLC knows that when it comes to drama, no one can be deemed as bankable as Ms. Deem. This is why Angela has been roped in by the network for not one but two more 90 Day Fiancé spinoffs; one with daughter Skyla Deem and the other with husband Michael Illesanmi.
After spending two seasons together on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 and 3, Michael and Angela made their way to 90 Day Fiancé’s season 7 followed by 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’s season 5. But her rich reality TV history can be traced back to Angela’s Trisha and Maury appearances as well. The heaps of tensions and trust issues between Michael, 30, and Angela, 54, made for popcorn worthy content, and the Nigerian’s continuous lies kept adding fuel to her fury. Even now after the TLC couple’s marriage, the Tell-All episode saw Michael and Angela feud some more. And what else could a reality show need, but a couple which fights together yet, stays together? Angela’s daughters too are just as popular within the fan community, with both Scottie and Skyla having made appearances on 90 Day Fiancé. And TLC seems to be making the most of the trends by roping in Skyla and Michael with Angela as pairs on two of their popular spin-off shows.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is all set to return in a week, having been on a month-long break after it’s explosive mid-season finale. Most of the show’s couples like Deavan-Jihoon and Brittany-Yazan have created quite some drama off-screen, which makes the show’s premiere even more worthwhile. SoapDirt reports that Angela and daughter Skyla will be joining the cast of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Pillow Talk starting with the official mid-season premiere on 11 October. Angela and Skyla will be seen alongside David Toborowsky and wife Annie Suwan, Loren, and husband Alexei Brovarnik, as well as BFF-duo Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Decker, and quite possibly Tim Malcolm and Veronica Rodriguez. TLC’s website confirms Angela and Skyla’s participation on Pillow Talk for episode 15, titled ‘Ready or Not.’ The mother-daughter duo will discuss Sumit’s family disapproving Jenny, Brittany trying to finalize her divorce, and Armando’s big revelation about his and Kenneth’s engagement to his family.
Meanwhile, Angela and Michael will be seen on 90 Day Fiancé’s Happily Ever After: Strikes Back with the other cast members of the current season on 5 October. The show’s pairs will discuss their journey throughout the season, while responding to comments from fans and critics, alike. This being Angela’s first time on Pillow Talk, fans can expect her to provide her usual quality content as she reviews the episodes from her couch. Until then, Angela can be seen on her upcoming Tell-All episodes- Michael, mask, and all.
