Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé has finally revealed how she looks now after weight loss surgery on Instagram, as she went in to get a new treatment on her 100-pound skinnier body. The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast member confessed she was going to undergo a major transformation during the season 5 Tell-All. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans think that by then, Angela had already gotten her six surgeries done, which included getting a gastric balloon, liposuction, breast reduction and two hernia operations. The 55-year-old TLC star is currently in Los Angeles, back to flirting with her doctors Dr. Michael. K. Obeng and Dr. Samuel Kashani. And while she’s at it, Angela is also getting a new health treatment done.
To several 90 Day Fiancé fans, Angela is now unrecognizable whenever she posts on social media. Some feel that Angela is gorgeous in her skinny new figure, while the other half argues that the meemaw looks old and haggard. Although concerns about Angela’s health have also seen a rise in fans seeing her look seemingly sickly in new photos, with wrinkles and loose skin, fans are even more worried about her persistent smoking habit. Despite 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? episode eight showing Angela trying hypnosis, she’s still been spotted smoking on her own Instagram.
But Angela is also taking care of her brand-new self and showed herself off getting a new treatment, which involved her sleeping inside an oxygen chamber. While fans were eager to see what Angela looked like after her surgery for the last time after her 90 Day Fiancé announcement, these days, there’s no dearth of content. Angela has been proudly showing off the results of her massive weight loss, as she parties in Los Angeles and making new friends. The grandmother of six is energetic as ever, even though 90 Day Fiancé's Angela seems half of her original size and, in a new series of Instagram Stories, appears to have visited a hyperbaric center. Wearing a branded black T-shirt and smiling as she posed with the clinic’s wall of fame, Angela showed off her bright new teeth and smiled for the camera.
The next couple of Stories had Angela lying in the chamber, ready for her hyperbaric treatment. As per Johns Hopkins Medicine, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or HBOT, is used to speed up healing of ailments such as carbon monoxide poisoning, gangrene, stubborn wounds and “infections in which tissues are starved for oxygen.” One has to enter a special chamber with 100% oxygen and air pressure levels that are one-and-a-half to three times higher than average. What happens is that the blood is then filled with enough oxygen “to repair tissues and restore normal body function.”
While Angela did not reveal how the treatment is helping her, the 90 Day Fiancé star does give a glimpse into her process of weight loss in this Sunday's episode of HEA. The cameras show Angela back home at Hazlehurst, Georgia, a month after her surgeries, and she confesses that she’s lost 40 pounds within four weeks. But Angela also comes clean about not exercising since her grandkids keep her busy and still smoking 10 cigarettes a day. Supporters hope 90 Day Fiancé's Angela adapts a healthier lifestyle soon and quits smoking for good to stay fit in her new body.
