Angela and Michael first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, when Angela flew to Nigeria to meet Michael in person and got engaged. The couple later returned for several seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, where they got married in Nigeria after Michael's K1 visa application was denied. Angela and Michael continued to face many of the same issues in their marriage, however, and rumors of their split began to surface in January.

However, InTouch revealed that the couple is now back together and that "Michael did cheat on her, and Angela got back with him."
