While fans thought 90 Day Fiancé weight loss queen Angela Deem had a perfect married life with Michael Ilesanmi, things have not been going well for the TLC couple. Since her wedding with Michael in January 2020, circumstances made Angela stay in America, away from her husband who awaited his visa. The Tell-All for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 showed Michael and Angela hit a rough patch when she chose plastic surgery over IVF to have a baby. And in a new interview before her season 6 comeback, Angela revealed how she’s thought of divorcing Michael.

The veteran couple of Michael, 32, and Angela, 54, debuted several seasons ago on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but the journey to the altar has been anything but easy. Through multiple break-ups, screaming matches, and cheating suspicions, Angela finally married Michael, although the thought of him being a scammer lingered on. The distance of 7,000 miles may have been the bigger villain in Michael and Angela’s relationship, as per the Georgian grandma. A week before her return to reality TV in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, Angela called the first week of her marriage with Michael, “hell.”

In an interview with ET, Angela revealed that she contemplated divorcing Michael and was speaking to a lawyer. Angela recalled telling Michael, “Somehow you changed since we got married and we're not even living together, yet. Like, don't take that for granted because there's always a damn divorce court around the corner.” And in a shocking statement, Angela confessed, “I mean, we went to hell.” Angela shared how the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé season would show how she and Michael, “literally went to hell and it was bad.” Angela spoke about Michael not answering his phone, making her suspicious of what he was up to, and compelling her to put a tracker in his phone.

I said he's doing something and whether it's not bad or not, it's still upsetting me,” is what Angela felt like through her long-distance relationship, and she noted, “Michael always gives me a reason to explode.” Confessing how the Nigerian 90 Day Fiancé star knows how to push her buttons, Angela added that her hubby Michaellikes it” when she gets upset as it shows she cares about him “in some crazy way.” Calling their journey yet “struggle,” Angela did, however, admit that deep in her heart, they still “love each other.” However, the many miles between them often prevent them from working out their issues.

We made it this far, we're probably going to have more bumps. ... We're gonna have our ups and downs, still, that's part of being married at the first year,” Angela pondered. But she also thinks that it’s “really not a year” until they spend it in each other’s company by living together. “We have stories and stories ahead of us,” shared Angie, who, along with Michael has waited for over three-and-a-half years to get his visa. Will 2021 be the year when Michael finally gets to be with Angela in her country? Or is this yet another 90 Day Fiancé relationship that will just crumble away before fans’ eyes?
