Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has just hit a new low for many viewers, thanks to a shocking scene between Angela Deem and her husband Michael Ilesanmi. The American and Nigerian couple have spent the duration of the season arguing over Angela's weight loss procedures and breast reduction, processes Michael did not approve of. Though the couple made strides to avoid divorce on Sunday night's episode, their sexually charged exchange left many 90 Day Fiancé fans shocked and disgusted.
Viewers have complained all season that Angela's 90 Day Fiancé journey has moved far away from the K-1 fiancé visa process as Angela's only focus has become plastic surgery. While Michael awaits his U.S. visa approval from Nigeria, Angela has been busy getting surgeries for her health while she compulsively smokes cigarettes and badmouths her husband. After more drama and an awkward call with a psychic, Angela decided to reconnect with her husband via a video call in the bathroom. The grandmother stripped down to nothing and revealed her new body to Michael with the camera crew in tow and viewers have since expressed shock over the graphic and uncomfortable scene.
One viewer took to Reddit to express their disgust over Angela's behavior. "Was the scene of Angela in the bath tub really necessary, like let's be real no one wants to see that or hear her. I am SO sick of her storyline. Her laugh makes me cringe, she's not a nice person and she is so inappropriate for a TV show. 'My c***oris is on fire' Girl kindly shut up," the user ranted. Commenters were in agreement that the scene between Angela and Michael was completely unnecessary and made them highly uncomfortable. They were quick to point out how awkward it must have been for the camera crew as well. "Hope that camera crew got hazardous duty pay," one commenter observed.
Many aspects of the scene left viewers very uncomfortable. While Angela revealing her naked body was too much for many viewers, others were made even more uncomfortable by the graphic dialogue. "Wish TLC would just dump her and her repulsive behaviour. Imagine a man on this show saying 'b***h' over and over to his wife! She's so trashy. Seriously TLC come on, the show will be better without her! At this point I just skip over her part," an enraged viewer wrote.
In addition to her recent sexual behavior, viewers have been calling for Angela to be canceled for a while now. Angela is shockingly rude to Michael on many occasions and uses appalling language when speaking to her husband. Viewers have labeled her to be verbally and emotionally abusive and have voiced that her bad behavior is not at all amusing to watch. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers have called for the franchise to take a hard look at the current cast and make serious changes to who is featured in new content.
