The five surgeries that Angela did in a single day at age 55 put both her life as well as her marriage with Michael Ilesanmi at risk. Her Instagram followers noticed that her bleached hair was severely damaged and they asked her to treat it, dye it and cut it short. While the Hazlehurst, Georgia, resident didn’t go back to her brunette roots, she did show up at a Los Angeles event with silkier hair. Soon enough, Angela was seen partying with 90 Day Fiancé castmate Debbie Johnson in Las Vegas, where it appeared that the meemaw has now had a style makeover as well.
Dressed in an all-white outfit and Ariana Grande-like hair, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Angela flaunted her new body boldly accentuated by a halter neck. Angela got great reactions for her new look from fans, who thought she looked “damn good.” But then along came her swimsuit reveal, which conversely failed to impress. 90 Day Fiancé blogger Mommy Says Bad Words posted a photo of Angela in a pool and perched upon a float, posing next to her best friend Jojo. The photo revealed her natural hair in a high bun, but she still retained the gold jewelry she paired with her white and red bathing suit.
However, apart from noticing Angela’s weight loss, 90 Day Fiancé fans found her pose to be odd. Angela's awkward pose on the rough-looking float was met with bad reactions, and someone joked that they “hope she doesn't start an OF.” Still, one fan praised Angela’s chest for having retained a “perky” look, as Dr. Obeng had promised her, and adding that at least “Michael will be pleased” after seeing the photo. Another TLC viewer mentioned that Angela always appeared to have skinny legs, but the surgery did help her lose the extra weight she had around her torso.
Fans have noticed that Angela has been trying to look cool in her recent social media updates, perhaps finally feeling that the transformation has made her look 20 years younger, as she wished for. Some even appreciate Angela’s confidence, which makes her seem less insecure than the lady they see shouting at Michael on 90 Day Fiancé. It’s also true that Angela on Instagram comes across as more friendly and likable to some, which could possibly be what her on-screen persona also turns into as Happily Ever After season 6 reaches its end.
