Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé revealed how well she can sing at a New Orleans meet and greet event for Halloween. The 56-year-old used to work in the healthcare industry as a nursing assistant at a hospice before meeting 32-year-old Michael Ilesanmi from Nigeria. After her reality TV debut with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2018, Angela seems to have relied on her fame as a TLC star to make a living. Besides, Angela also does paid promotions and brand collaborations on her Instagram, which has 752,000-plus followers. Angela also gets paid per episode for 90 Day Fiancé, and besides, there are platforms such as TikTok and Cameo where she’s also active.
But it’s starting to look like Angela is a Jill of many trades, and not everyone knows about them. If some fans suspect Angela’s violent outbursts on 90 Day Fiancé are her merely acting, she has now also started singing, including at live venues. While 90 Day Fiancé star Angela prefers to keep the comments on her Instagram posts turned off to avoid reading negative messages from fans, she does keep posting regularly on her own page and on called @angeladeemcollabs. There, Angela shared a video titled, “My duet with Tina Turner Live” and tagged the location as Cats Meow in NOLA. Angela was dressed for the occasion in an all-black outfit of a top and leggings with a tail and pink cat ears hairband. Angela wore a cat bow collar, and she also had a necklace with pink ribbons to perhaps spread awareness about breast cancer.

In the video, Angela was loud and proud while singing to Ike & Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.” Angela was on stage with a mic in her hand. Several 90 Day Fiancé fans joined Angela from the audience, singing along with her and cheering her on. Angela did not just sing but also did a bit of dancing while screaming, “I love you,” at her fans. She got particularly excited to sing the encore part, especially the lyrics, “You know that big wheel keep on turning, Proud Mary keep on burning” when Angela started to hit the high notes while jumping animatedly on the stage.
Viewers of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 are calling for Angela to be banned from future TLC content. They find her actions on the show towards Michael to be abusive, and petitions have been filed for Angela to be fired. However, after scenes that included Angela destroying Michael’s car in Nigeria in a fit of rage and her towering over him at a club and telling him he can’t become an Instagram influencer like her, upset fans asked TLC to include a trigger warning. Strangely, Happily Ever After episode 10 saw Michael and Angela get back together as if nothing happened.
It's because of the many breakups and patch-ups between Michael and Angela on 90 Day Fiancé that the lines between what’s real and what’s reality have been blurred. Michael could be latching on to Angela for a Green Card, but fans who feel sympathy towards him for tolerating her anger might just start calling him out for faking scenes too. In any case, as long as Michael doesn’t arrive in the U.S., the couple will stay in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. And even after Michael gets his visa, there are plenty of opportunities for the network to get the controversial pair in more spin-offs, which might help Angela to showcase her singing talent on TV too.
