Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are enraged after watching Angela Deem's convicted daughter, Scottie Deem, at her house interacting with kids. These fans believe that the TLC star should not allow Scottie near children because she has been behind bars after being found guilty of child molestation. This massive backlash against Angela started out when she was accused by some viewers of mentally and verbally abusing her husband, Michael Ilesanmi. During the previous season, most viewers actually liked Angela's loud, energetic, and funny personality. However, her aggressiveness has started to bother many fans over the years.
In the last few episodes of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, some viewers called Angela a hypocrite after she seemingly flirted with her doctors while Michael isn't even allowed to hang out with his Nigerian friends. She was then dragged for abusing her husband on a video call and blaming him for her smoking addiction. Many 90 Day Fiance viewers were shocked to watch Angela ridicule Michael and call him ugly on national TV. While the 55-year-old meemaw was criticized for her on-screen persona, she was accused of being an accessory to her daughter's crimes.
As most fans of 90 Day Fiancé know, Angela Deem has two daughters: Skyla and Scottie. Skyla is featured on the show, but The Sun reported that Scottie served 15 months in prison on child molestation charges. During a 4th of July celebration, blogger John Yates apparently visited Angela Deem with his partner, Cody. He went on to have a video chat with another blogger, Sharrell's World. In the video, fans can see Angela, Skyla, and kids walking around in the background. However, what shocked these fans the most was that Scottie was there in the house around kids. A 90 Day Fiance blogger called @that_mommy_says_bad_words posted the snippet of a 1-hour long video (seen below) on Instagram while confirming that Scottie lives with Angela and six kids in the same house.
Many 90 Day Fiance viewers were upset after watching the shared video. They left comments like, "They don't value those kids at all. What a shame," "Unbelievable this is allowed by the law!" and "I'm surprised Scottie is allowed to live with children given her conviction." Scottie was reportedly released on parole on May 6, 2020, and it appears that she has been living with her mother since then. Some fans are upset to learn that Scottie got released after serving 15 months, and that she is already allowed to be around very young kids.
Other fans are annoyed to observe that newly-transformed Angela continues to get featured on 90 Day Fiance spin-offs even after allegedly mistreating her partner. At the moment, she is seemingly threatening her husband with divorce because he is refusing to get bullied and has started to talk back. Angela is aware of the backlash she is getting online, but she doesn't seem to care. During an online altercation with a 90 Day Fiancé blogger, the reality TV star called her critics "idiots" and mentioned that she isn't going anywhere.
