Fans of 90 Day Fiancé expect a certain amount of trashiness from the stars of the show, but many feel Angela Deem has crossed a line and needs to be permanently ejected from the franchise. It’s no surprise that Angela lost viewer support this season on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? due to her inappropriate behavior towards her doctors, treatment of her husband Michael, and overall stubborn and entitled attitude. There are many stars of the show who fans can’t stand, but they think Angela is irredeemable.

Angela has been awful all season, but in a recent episode, she turned the dial up to 11. After trying to hack her husband’s phone to track his location, Angela got into an explosive fight with Michael. Over the phone, Angela screamed at Michael, calling him an “ugly son of a b****” and accused him of marrying her just for a green card. Angela made truly problematic claims of having a right to control Michael because she’s his wife and spouted a lot of abusive language.

Fans have dragged Angela for her poor treatment of Michael before, but she took it to the extreme in the last episode. “Her behavior is predatory and abusive,” one fan on Reddit claimed, calling for Angela to be “canceled” by TLC. Other fans chimed in, calling her “just about the most offensive person in the cast history” and “a close second” to the now-hated Big Ed Brown. But while many fans wanted her removed from the franchise, others pointed out that this was not the way to go about it.

No one on this show is really canceled. The controversy helps them, it is in fact better to be aggressively hated than generally liked,” a fan commented, while another added, “This outrage only helps (TLC).” Just because a cast member is disliked, doesn’t mean they aren't popular. The network thrives off of the good and bad buzz generated by the show’s stars, and another fan agreed that Angela was a “cash cow” for the network.

90 Day Fiancé fans are in an uproar about Angela, but constantly talking about her probably isn’t the best way to get rid of her. As long as she doesn’t do anything truly indefensible and outrageous, the network will be unlikely to remove her from the franchise. She’s someone compelling who, for better or worse, fans can’t stop watching and talking about. Unfortunately for the anti-Angela crowd, she probably won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, and viewers will have to put up with her brash cackle for a while longer.
