Angela Deem updated 90 Day Fiancé fans about how her married life with Michael Ilesanmi is doing now. Angela and Michael debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2, during which she’d first flown to Nigeria. Angela and Michael’s cultural and age differences posed many problems for the couple including their disagreements over having a baby. Even though Angela was a grandmother of six herself, Michael and his family expected her to "tote" their child. The other option was for Michael to marry a younger woman, which is obviously something jealous Angie disapproves of. But instead of finding a solution to their problems, Angela decided to opt for plastic surgery in 2020 which resulted in her 100 pounds plus weight loss.
Angela and Michael got married in January 2020 in Nigeria following which she hurriedly returned to America to look after her hailing mom. Angela’s mom passed away and the pandemic made sure Angela and Michael would not get to meet for two more years. While Angela still held hope for Michael’s spousal visa to get approved, she decided to surprise him by slimming down and looking younger. But Angela’s plan backfired when Michael disapproved of her breast reduction operation. Michael also didn’t like Angela flirting with her Dr. Obeng and this resulted in the couple having a terrible fight in the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 Tell-All.
Things between Michael and Angela seemingly got better after that, but recently, Before the 90 Days star Usman Umar claimed the relationship was over. Usman called Angela a scammer and accused her of using Michael’s money to buy herself a house. While this was the case in February, Angela has now revealed things between her and Michael are better. Angela posted an Instagram Reel of her using the Marilyn Monroe filter and pouting with the song “Still in Love” by Teena Marie playing in the background. The lyrics of the song went, “I’m still in love, nobody’s gonna take your place in my life.” Angela wrote the date of her and Michael’s wedding, “#1.27.2020” on the video. In her caption, the 90 Day Fiancé star told her Instagram followers, “Queens he is your king and only yours.”
Angela then posted a second Instagram clip, in which she had an answer to K.T Oslin asking “Do you still love me?” in her song “Do Ya’.” Angela showed herself blushing and wrote, “of course now” with kisses and a heart emoji. She claimed, “#TRUELOVENEVERDIES” in her caption as she explained that it’s because "it just has its trials and tribulations." Interestingly, Angela turned the comments off for this post which is certainly about her Nigerian husband Michael. However, fans used the earlier post to voice their thoughts about Michael and Angela’s relationship. “I guess she and Michael got back together,” read a 90 Day Fiancé fan’s comment on Angela’s Instagram.
Despite Usman’s claims about Angela ending things with Michael, there are rumors which suggest she’s currently in Nigeria. Angela’s friend Rene posted videos of herself with the location tag of Ikeja and she featured in one of Angela’s TikTok’s which looks like it’s been filmed in Nigeria. Fans suspect Angela is working on a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off there and will be bringing Michael along when she returns to America. However, with Angela now suggesting that she’s happy with Michael, it’s time for fans to guess what will contribute to the drama in their storyline for the next season.
