54-year-old Angela and 30-year old Michael have shown their tumultuous relationship to audiences on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on season 2 and season 3. There have been plenty of breakups due to a mountain of trust issues between the two after Michael admitted to cheating on Angela shortly after they first got together. Now they are trying to put their fights behind them in order to focus on the future. When fans last saw them in season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Angela was preparing for her fiancé's arrival when it was revealed that Michael's visa has been denied, meaning that she would once again have to go to Nigeria.
On Sunday’s all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, fans watched as Angela took care of her ailing mother. Even though Angela's mom, Glenda Standridge passed away back in January, the show was able to film her before she succumb to pneumonia. Angela had high hopes that her mother would be able to watch her walk down the aisle to her true love Michael. During the heartbreaking episode, Angela toiled with the decision of whether or not she should head back to Nigeria to actually marry Michael. The mother of two was nervous about leaving her ailing mother behind with the fear she would die when she was gone.
Glenda still had her humor about her. She joked that her daughter was 54-years-old and could not be told what to do. In a bonding moment, she proceeded to give her daughter her blessing to marry the Nigerian even though she could not attend the ceremony herself. A weight was lifted off the reality stars' shoulders while she brushed her mother’s hair. Glenda also promised her daughter she would be either in her bed or favorite chair when she returned.
Fans were told about the devasting news in the New Year, not long after Angela and Michael chose to be married in Illesanmi, Nigeria. Angela posted a loving tribute to her mother on her Instagram account saying she was in shock after having to say goodbye. Glenda was only 77-years-old but had been battling with health issues.
