The friend shared that Michael had been communicating with the women on Instagram, which came as a surprise, since Angela was so strict about limiting Michael's social media activity. At the time, they had a shared profile. Sadly, the claims were backed up by screenshots and voice messages. It's easy to say that 90 Day Fiancé viewers were knocked off their feet when Michael proclaimed that he wanted a child with the now 56-year-old Georgia native. Angela already had children. The mature woman wasn't really interested in having more kids. However, Michael desperately wanted to become a father. Angela had explained to TLC cameras that she was at a crossroads, revealing that she felt she might die if she didn't do something drastic soon. She also decided to have her breasts redone during the procedure, which left Michael speechless, and not in a good way.
While Michael tried his best to reassure his wife, he had his own reservations, which he shared during a 90-Day Fiancé confessional. Michael was first afraid that his wife would end up with smaller breasts, and was afraid that he wouldn't like what he saw after the procedure was complete. However, the main reason for Michael's lack of excitement stemmed from the fact that many Nigerian citizens have died from these forms of plastic surgery procedures. This made him feel like Angie was risking, "it all" for a quick fix.

On more than one occasion, the 90 Day Fiancé star has been accused of verbally abusing her former husband, Michael. While airing their story on a new spin-off, 90 Day Journey, on Discovery+, the volatile due Angela and Michael showed how troubled their relationship had become. Over the years, Angela successfully isolated Michael from his family and friends, often called, "the goofballs" onscreen.
Angela always found a way to tear Michael down, and frequently convinced the TV star that he was the problem in their relationship. It's been hard to watch Michael's self-esteem plummet. He started out confident, but his last appearance showed a major personality shift. Angela also assaulted Michael with cake by shoving it into his face. During an earlier season of 90 Day Fiancé, Angela was accused of being racist toward Michael. According to a Reddit thread started by u/lmdaley90, the dynamic in Michael and Angela's relationship was based on power, with Angela feeling she was above Michael in every way. The thread participant noted that Angela doesn't see Michael as her, "equal." Even though she didn't call Michael any derogatory names on camera, she was often recorded yelling at him. For example, she called him a, "bit*h."
Angela has been called out often for her racist remarks. Most recently, 90 Day Fiancé fans got worked up after seeing a social media post, where Angela was seen posing (via devilyn_side) with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael K. Obeng, and another doctor, Lawton Tang. The picture had the caption, "Once you go, Black, you never go Back, But once you go Y*****, you Never do Another Fellow." The notion stirred up immense disgust among TLC followers. Thankfully, rumors has it that Michael is no longer married to Angela. If so, he doesn't have to deal with her outbursts anymore.
