On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, the reality star Angela Deem’s "sissy" Jojo was the meemaw's bestie, but they have seemingly ended her friendship. Georgia resident Angela has been a prominent figure in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise since her 2018 debut with Michael Ilesanmi on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2. TLC viewers have gotten to know Angela's family and friends, such as her daughters, grandkids, and best friend, Jojo. In fact, Jojo was Angela’s only support during her plastic surgery procedures in Los Angeles, which led to her 90-pound weight loss.
Interestingly, it was also Disney fan Jojo who showed up to help Angela when she needed a witness in Nigeria for her much-anticipated wedding with Michael. Angela’s own daughter Skyla Deem refused to be the witness who proved Angela and Michael’s relationship was genuine, as she was suspicious of the man her mom was marrying. As per Skyla, Michael was looking for a Green Card, and the age gap between Angela and him also bothered her. Jojo then stepped in, which she continued to do when Michael was away and Angela had to undergo life-threatening surgeries. 90 Day Fiancé fans appreciated Jojo for being a bestie to someone like Angela, who is bossy and prone to temper tantrums.
However, something terrible seems to have taken place between Jojo and Angela, as the former has deleted all traces of the 90 Day Fiancé star from her Instagram. On Wednesday, Jojo posted a lengthy statement, which appears to be about her deciding to part ways with her friend Angela two months ago. She said it was a very hard decision for her. “People change……so I knew in my heart is [sic] was time to move on, but I wish her all the best,” Jojo wrote, without really naming Angela. She mentioned that there was a need to put this information out there since lots of people were messaging her on Instagram and Facebook to ask her questions about their friendship.
“I hope everyone is understanding,” Jojo prayed. Jojo also spoke about her not being the kind of person who ignores her friends. “Because I think of each and everyone one of you as my friend,” she explained. “And knowing everyone of you takes the time to message me such positive and supporting words, Hopefully this will answer a lot of questions,” added Jojo, as she signed off with, “Your friend, -Jojo❤️” Interestingly, Colt Johnson’s mother Debbie Johnson also commented on Jojo's update. The Las Vegas resident, who’s been announced as a 90 Day: The Single Life cast member, said, “I am so very proud of you. Stay strong and be happy ❤️😻🤗” in her comment. Jojo replied with, “Thankyou my Beautiful friend!❤️ I will”
It’s likely that it was via Angela that Jojo and Debbie became friends. However, fans in the comments have nothing but words of praise and sympathy for Angela’s ex-BFF. “Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do! ❤️” and “So sad…I’m sorry JoJo” read some of the messages from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers. Still, Jojo has assured her followers that they do not need to be sad, as she’s doing okay. Fans believe that the problematic behavior Angela displays onscreen may have seeped into her real-life relationships. Regardless, neither Jojo nor Angela have revealed what caused them to seemingly cut ties. Most people think that whatever has happened is for the best.
