90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem claimed ex-best friend Jojo is a habitual liar after revealing how she constantly harassed TLC. When Angela’s decisions were not supported even by her own daughter on the show, it was Jojo whom fans saw rushing to help her. Disney fan Jojo, whom Angela called “sissy,” flew to Nigeria in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 to be a witness at Michael and Angela’s wedding. In the next season, Angela was getting her butt wiped by Jojo after her weight loss surgeries in Los Angeles. However, after their fallout over Debbie Johnson, Angela said Jojo used her fans.
90 Day Fiancé viewers on Instagram weren’t expecting Jojo to post about her friendship with Angela ending and revealing that it had been two months already. The demise of their relationship was apparently caused after Jojo and Angela visited 90 Day: The Single Life star Debbie in Las Vegas. According to Jojo, Angela went wild after she didn’t get credit for introducing her and Debbie, and called her a “lying b****” and “irrelevant.” Jojo also kept receipts of text messages Angela harassed her with. All these accusations weren’t addressed by Angela directly, but she did treat her Instagram followers to passive-aggressive posts.
However, all it took for Angela to reveal her true feelings about Jojo was a TikTok live session she did with Michael. A recording of the video was shared by 90 Day Fiancé blogger @kikiandkibbitz where Angela received a comment saying, “You’re broke. You used Jojo.” Angela laughed upon reading that and asked Michael to back her up by telling him, “Listen, baby” and reading out the message. “Listen, you don’t want this. Jojo is a habitual liar. I’m gonna say it one time and that’s the last time you hear it.” According to Angela, Jojo got paid for everything she did. “She harassed TLC constantly, did she not, honey?” she asked Michael, who nodded in agreement. Then Angela asked her critic to get their facts straight and not come on their live video as she wants “positive energy” and not “psychotic.”
In an attempt to “blast” the fan, Angela, who's lost over 90 pounds, mockingly added, “Jojo used y’all.” She continued, “I don’t speak about her, but you gonna keep on bringing it to our attention?” Angela claimed she and Michael don’t “give a damn” about Jojo. Georgia resident Angela alleged that when Jojo visited Nigeria, she was supposed to stay there for a week. But Jojo only stayed for two days. Even when Jojo came to California for Angela’s surgeries, she was filming only for two days instead of a week. She went ahead and shamed 90 Day Fiancé fans for believing in such “absurd s***.” But Angela also added, “The devil walks strong nowadays, and I’m a God believer.” As a final act of showing her true feelings towards her bestie, Angela said, “God bless you. God bless you, Jojo.”
In the post comments, 90 Day Fiancé fans slammed Michael for always behaving like a yes man around Angela as she’s the source of his visa and Green Card. They also agreed that while Jojo may not have stayed for a week with Angela, unlike Angela’s daughter, she showed up despite having her own family. Jojo is getting support from viewers who’ve watched Angela being overbearing and abusive on TV. Many think that Angela wants to stay relevant and is accusing Jojo callously.
