If 90 Day Fiancé star Jorge Nava is known for his post-weight loss glow-up, ex-wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko has also managed to lose the gold label tag. Russian girl Anfisa never came to be liked in season 4 thanks to her temper issues and seemingly selfish motives before being married to Jorge. From canceling Jorge’s tickets to demanding the infamous red bag, Anfisa was in the TLC viewers’ bad books, until after leaving 90 Day Fiancé. Not only did Anfisa chose to better her body and lifestyle as she grieved Jorge’s arrest; she’s also successfully running her own business and has a promising degree, looking more like a goal digger living her American dream.
Californian man Jorge had come across Anfisa on Facebook, and his 90 Day Fiancé partner was so out of his league that it took him ten messages until she finally responded. A lot of Jorge’s past relationships had gone sour due to his thought of how “a woman should depend on a man” and Anfisa, 20, was his “true love” who he finally met in Spain. Anfisa never really denied that he was in the relationship for Jorge’s money, while she also believed that he was into her primarily for her looks. And while Anfisa wanted an outrageously expensive wedding with a $45,000 dress, the 90 Day Fiancé pair had wedded in a simple courthouse affair. But their marriage never seemed like a happy one, and it reached a breaking point when Jorge began serving a 22-month prison sentence in September 2018 after pleading guilty to a felony charge of marijuana transportation.
Back then, Anfisa Arkhipchenko had clapped back at her haters who questioned the status of her 90 Day Fiancé marriage with Jorge. The couple initially made it seem that all was well with Jorge losing a staggering amount of weight and Anfisa too filling the void of his absence of fitness. However, by March 2020, it was clear that Anfisa and Jorge were a lost cause and she was dating again. Jorge was no longer in her life, and Anfisa started making a name for herself in the fitness industry to get her own bread. Showing enviable progress with her body based on sheer dedication, Anfisa turned to bikini competitions and won three medals in her first attempt.
In 2019, Anfisa had become a nationally qualified NPC bikini athlete and also got her certification in personal training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Her fitness routines and expertise got 90 Day Fiancé star Anfisa a lot of attention with fans turning to her for tips and advice, and Jorge’s ex then decided to launch her fitness program. She has not looked back since then. In June 2020, Anfisa debuted her fitness app, and as a social media influencer in the niche, created several fitness programs based on different body goals, with easy meals and at-home workout routines. Currently, Anfisa has her own company, Empower by Anfisa, that she launched in 2020 and provides personalized meal plans and workout programs through video tutorials.
Anfisa charges a $60 monthly fee or a discounted $150 for a 3-month subscription. Her Instagram success is also second to none with 812k followers, brand endorsements, and stunning organic engagement. A UC Irvine student, Anfisa is also in a relationship after having divorced Jorge in the past year. Not only has Anfisa showed tremendous growth as a career woman since her 90 Day Fiancé stint, but she has also left no stone unturned to achieve her dreams. And as far as the “gold digger” behavior on TV, Anfisa claims it's “what the producers wanted” and her playing up the “Russian stereotype” to perhaps look interesting on screen.
