Season eight of 90 Day Fiancé has been low on fan-favorite cast members, as far more personalities have distinguished themselves as villains. While Julia Trubkina and Zied Hakimi are favored among viewers, most of the current couples have been portrayed in a negative light. However, Amira Lollysa’s fiancé, Andrew Kenton, might be the worst of the bunch. Discover why the California daycare worker is widely disliked by franchise fans.

Andrew and Amira have a chaotic relationship that is spilling over to messy behavior outside of the show. The French beauty was detained at the start of the season while she was trying to meet her American partner in Mexico. Andrew was memorably shown making the best of his Mexico getaway while his fiancée was dealing with the devastating outcome of her detention. However, Andrew has since launched a smear campaign against Amira, claiming that she is manufacturing a sob story to become famous. The messy allegations have led to a public social media spat that saw Andrew’s mother accused of using allegedly racist language against Amira.

Many fans were disgusted with the way Andrew acted during Amira’s detention. Though Andrew alleges that Amira was acting for the cameras, viewers are still dumbfounded by the American’s new scheme to have his fiancé meet him in Serbia. Viewers dislike Andrew because they feel he doesn’t have Amira’s best interests at heart. Many have accused him of being selfish and cruel. Similar allegations have been made against Jovi Dufren. Therefore, many viewers weren’t surprised that Jovi has been supporting Andrew in his claims against Amira.

While viewers are disappointed to see Andrew dragging his former fiancée on social media, many feel as though he exhibits potentially abusive behavior. Some viewers have accused Andrew of being a narcissist. Andrew has been caught twisting the truth, the prime example being how he reacted to Amira saying she wasn’t ready for a baby. The American warped Amira’s mature response to make himself come across as a victim. This reaction appears to be a pattern, as viewers have noticed other instances where Andrew manipulated situations to shift the blame onto Amira. His behavior has been deemed gaslighting by some concerned fans.

While viewers are concerned about Andrew’s potentially manipulative behavior, others flat out don’t like him. Andrew exudes what fans consider to be a largely smarmy vibe that many find to be off-putting. He also demonstrates a considerable lack of empathy and thinly concealed rage that makes viewers uncomfortable. Andrew is certainly not a fan-favorite, but is he the worst season eight villain? While some viewers would say yes, many are waiting to see how the rest of the season plays out before casting their final judgment. However, Andrew was recently voted the most unlikable American male fiancé in season eight of 90 Day Fiancé.
