Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa’s 90 Day Fiancé season 8 romance is a nail-biter. While most other couples on the TLC show (including Stephanie Davison and Ryan Carr) have reunited, Andrew and Amira remain in different countries. Andrew, who’s been a target for hate from the whole 90 Day Fiancé fan community, claims that the detention and deportation from Mexico was all Amira’s fault. In fact, he called Amira a “liar” and “fame-hungry” in a recent Instagram rant.
After meeting on an international dating site, Californian daycare expert Andrew, 32, fell for French-Egyptian lady Amira, 28, and proposed to her within three days of their first meeting. However, the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s goal of getting Amira Lollysa to America stalled when she was detained in Mexico City. While Amira claimed that the plan to meet in Mexico was Andrew’s idea, she did seem confident while boarding the plane. However, as she spent three days in the detention center without a phone or watch, Andrew got his tired muscles massaged at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, claiming he’d tried his best to help her. After Amira was deported and reached Saumur via Amsterdam, the 90 Day Fiancé star revealed that Andrew hadn’t even checked up on her. With the criticism towards Andrew reaching an all-time high, it made sense that the new 90 Day Fiancé celeb Andrew would lash out. He didn't take aim at fans, though. He directed his comments at his "princess" Amira instead.
In a bunch of highlights saved on his @kinddragondrew Instagram profile, the children's book author implies via screenshots that 90 Day Fiancé darling Amira was the mastermind behind the Mexico debacle. The first receipt shows a WhatsApp chat between 90 Day Fiancé’s Amira and him, where she asks him, “so u still in favour of Mexico?” A few texts get exchanged before he replies with, “I support whatever you choose.” The picture then shows Amira possibly sharing her Mexico ticket details, as Andrew asks her if she’s booked one already. This implied that Amira went ahead and made the bookings before discussing it with her TLC star boyfriend. She responded, “yes for the 11th.” Andrew captioned this screenshot with “Amira was the one to make the decision she was on the forum, she bought the ticket, chose the date and much more!”
The next screenshot has 90 Day Fiancé’s Amira saying that she will take “full responsibility” for the Mexico decision. In the accompanying caption, Andrew refers to the deportation documents that were previously leaked. He calls 90 Day Fiancé a “silly TV show” and also claims that he’s a “real one” who doesn’t need “fame, lip fillers, or filters.” The preschool owner then calls Amira a “fame hungry liar” and claims his 90 Day Fiancé lover has “every reason to be in lock-step to achieve that fame.”
“I honestly never needed or wanted this show haha,” laughs Andrew, while sharing the third screenshot of a chat with an alleged translator, whose help he claims to have taken during Amira’s detention. While many fans think Amira and Andrew’s 90 Day Fiancé plot is either trash or a fraud, it looks like the couple is in the midst of making another plan to fly to Serbia in the next episode.
Will adamant Amira finally reach America? Will the 90 Day Fiancé fans finally forgive Andrew? The wait may be trickier than Amira’s ticking K-1 visa timebomb.
