An unlikely friendship seems to have developed between 90 Day Fiancé season 8 co-stars Julia Trubkina and Amira Lollysa’s ex Andrew Kenton after the Tell-All. While fans expected explosives to fly across their TLC screens during part 1 of the Tell-All, many were shocked to see Andrew barely utter a word. As Amira hurt the Dragon’s feelings, some not-so-kind comments were also passed by Andrew’s cast members. Amongst them was also Brandon Gibb’s wife Julia, who openly declared, “I don’t like him” to Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren.
As fans awaited the Tell-All of 90 Day Fiancé season 8 to air, Andrew was busy doing his own tea spilling on Instagram by sharing his usual stream of screenshots. From claiming that Amira was “actively pursuing prisoners” before and during their relationship, to revealing that the texts that were shown by TLC were fake, Andrew went on an angry tirade against his ex. Meanwhile, Amira stayed cool as a cucumber through the entire Instagram onslaught, probably knowing that the Tell-All would only humiliate Andrew.
For the entirety of the 90 Day Fiancé episode, the outspoken on IG Andrew Kenton sat quietly in a corner as couples like Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva threw daggers at each other, and Rebecca Parrott showed off her surgery results. But when host Shaun Robinson finally turned to Andrew, the producers asked him to take momentarily leave, as Amira didn’t want to confront Andrew during the interview. “I will not let him control me ever again,” Amira declared nervously, and when Andrew was asked to step away, he chose to go home instead. But as the rest of the season 8 castmates looked shaken by Andrew’s decision, Julia seemed to have his back.
The daycare dude Andrew recently celebrated his birthday with his Instagram followers, choosing to answer questions and doing a birthday live. The 90 Day Fiancé star, who’s been declared the most hated cast member of the franchise, later uploaded this video of him in a dino hoodie to his IG feed. And amongst criticism such as, “There’s no way Amira was into you,” and “boy she dodged a bullet,” Andrew got an unlikely comment from Julia. The former go-go dancer from 90 Day Fiancé wrote, “You are very good person inside!! But I still don’t like your selfies,” with a laughing emoji, to which Andrew’s reply was, “Haha, I don’t blame ya on the selfies. I gotta mix it up. You and Branon are wonderful and rock all the photos! Gotta follow your example.”
Within the first few minutes of the Tell-All when Julia had said, “He will **** himself, I’m sorry. If he have choice, him do this,” she won over many 90 Day Fiancé fans. However, Julia’s likeability dropped over the course of the episode with her contesting Yara’s thoughts on plastic surgery, and later admitting to having been the one who wanted to stay at the farm. With Julia being revealed as the real villain of her and Brandon’s story and not Betty Gibbs, she has gathered a fair amount of mistrust. But could being pally with the already-hated Andrew bring Julia more wrath from 90 Day Fiancé fans?
