Only two episodes into 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season six, native Russian speaking viewers have called Andrei Castravet out for his shocking language towards his wife, Elizabeth Potthast. The Moldovan man, who is currently being mocked by fans, already has a rocky relationship with his wife's family. It appears as though Andrei also speaks quite rudely to Libby. Viewers fluent in Russian translated some of Andrei's vulgar phrases shown on-air to other 90 Day Fiancé fans.
Andrei, Libby, and Libby's family have long since been called out by the franchise fans for their bad behavior. Andrei is currently being mocked for demanding a $100,000 loan from Libby's father, Chuck Potthast. His pompous request led to more drama between Andrei and his brother-in-law, Charlie. Viewers have slammed the drama for being repetitive and boring. They have voiced that Andrei and Libby should exit the franchise so that fans can catch up with other couples instead. Overall, a rotating cast is something fans have requested for Happily Ever After.
One viewer made a shocking revelation about Andrei in the r/90dayfianceuncensored sub-Reddit. The post called out Andrei for his offensive language. "I know Russian, and honestly Andrei curses SO MUCH!! The little words he says in between the english words? yup, those are really vulgar Russian curses," the user wrote. "Most Moldovans also speak russian. ALL of them curse in Russian," the user continued. "I was watching the clothes folding scene, and those little "bla" or "blya" or "nah" (abbreviation for a really bad word), are all really really vulgar and crass cursing words. It's hillarious to hear they bleep out the american f-words, but leave out the so much kore vulgar russian curses. This guy seriously talks like street trash wannabe russian gangster."
Many native speakers agreed that Andrei's language was foul and that he sounded like he was trying to be a gangster. "As an Eastern European, he reminds me so much of my dad and not in a good way😕," one user wrote. "I always assumed he is abusive when the cameras are off," another commenter speculated. "He usually curses when he is drunk, but recently I noticed he goes out of control during a normal day lol. Try to look at the scene when Andrei and Libby folds the laundry on the bed," a native speaker pointed out. "I know Russian too and can confirm that Andreeeei is awful. Typical gopnik," another native speaker confirmed. Another commenter roughly translated Andrei's language to, "'You're my f@cking wife nahu! bly@t.'" Many native Russian speakers were shocked that his vulgar words were not bleeped out.
The overall viewer consensus is that Andrei is not a loving spouse. His foul language and vulgar persona have led to more fans voicing their disdain for Libby's husband. Andrei was previously called out for being misogynistic and controlling. The latest insight into his language, unfortunately, didn't surprise many viewers, though it has increased their dislike of him. Nevertheless, Andrei and Libby will be back to bore fans with more repetitive drama in new episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? on Sunday nights.
