On last night’s episodes of 90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After? fans watched as Andrei reignited the fighting between his in-laws and himself. While attending his father-in-law, Chuck’s birthday party he dropped the bombshell that he would be having a wedding in Moldova, that everyone is invited, but it will happen within the month. Elizabeth’s family was gobsmacked. They knew nothing about the nuptial plans and were annoyed that he was bringing up at Chuck's party as well as it felt like he was forcing the event on them. Many of his brother-in-law’s argued that they knew nothing about his home country, implying it was dangerous to travel abroad. So here's what we know about Andrei's homecountry of Moldova.

Moldova

Moldova is an Eastern European and former Soviet republic that lies in the northeastern corner of the Balkan region. It is a country known for its forests and vineyards. The small country borders Romania and the Ukraine. A year ago, Moldova was on the U.S. State Department advisory list regarding travel for its unresolved conflict within the central government. The country became independent in 1991 but has had a few challenges as it struggled to set up a constitution. The country has also found it hard to transition to a free-market economy after Soviet rule. Even though Moldova was dubbed the least happy place back in 2008, it has come a long way in giving itself a makeover.

It is obvious that Andrei wants to show off his country as it is not a popular tourist attraction, yet. Its road less traveled charm should charm even the most stubborn of Americans. Hopefully, Chuck won’t lose his cool when he finds out that Andrei expects him to spare no expense and pay for the destination wedding even though he has already paid for housing and car for the couple. The expectations that Andrei has is a recipe for disaster, but fans cannot wait to see what happens.
