Viewers of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? have been brutally honest with their season 6 opinions, which has led to many viewers voicing that Andrei and Libby Castravet should be off the show. The 90 Day Fiancé couple has annoyed viewers for a while now with their negative attitudes and repetitive conflict with Libby’s family. The first two episodes of the spin-off show continued to paint the couple in a negative light. Fans took to social media to voice the reasons why they think Libby and Andrei should exit the franchise.
With two episodes of season 6 out, Andrei has already earned plenty of fan ridicule. The Moldovan man has been widely criticized for asking his father-in-law Chuck Potthast for a $100,000 loan to get into real estate as competition to the Potthast family. Andrei has notoriously been on bad terms with Libby’s family, while led to the loan being turned down and her siblings being annoyed. The husband of Libby has now once again started drama with her brother Charlie over his bold loan request. Though the franchise is known for drama, many viewers are tired of watching Andrei and the shady Potthast family argue over money.
One viewer took to Reddit to publicly call out the couple in a post. “Dear TLC... CAN WE STOP BRINGING ELIZABETH AND ANDRRREI ON THE SHOW,” the user wrote. "Their storyline is getting very repetitive, and it’s muy obvious that they want their own spin-off show like Chantel and Pedro.” The majority of commenters chimed in with agreement that they could not stand seeing Libby and Andrei. “I’m with you on this one. It’s just painfully cringey how desperate they are to milk the TLC cow,” a top comment reads. Commenters complained that the couple’s storylines never go anywhere. They also appear in agreement that nobody in Libby’s family is likable. Many viewers are also suspicious of her family’s shady past.
One of the biggest complaints with Libby and Andrei, as well as the other season 6 couples, is how repetitive their storylines are. “They literally have the same story line EVERY SEASON. We don’t want to see them on these shows, we don’t want them to have their own spin offs, let them fade away from our TVs pleaseeeee,” an exasperated viewer wrote. Many viewers also can’t stand the Potthast family. “I mentioned it in the live chat, but I find it so interesting how all of family Libby dresses up to be part of the family meeting. Like, overly dressed up. They make an effort to look good on camera and are milking it. I think they want to follow the Kardashian or Real Housewives aesthetic along with the staged drama. I think being on reality TV has gotten to their heads,” another user shared.
Though fans have been calling Andrei and Libby out the most, viewers are annoyed with many of the current Happily Ever After? couples. Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs have been labeled bickering teenagers, while many viewers are already bored of Ronald and Tiffany Smith’s divorce drama. The highlight of the season appears to be Yara Zaya, who will be appearing alongside her husband Jovi Dufren next week.
