If Andrei Castravet from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is having a wedding that's actually paid for, why does he need Chuck’s money? Moldovan customs are a clue that the reality star may actually not need his father-in-law's money at all... he may just be greedy.

Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast are a 90 Day Fiancé couple who have been struggling with communication during the past couple of episodes. Elizabeth is trying to keep her family together, but Andrei is always pushing them away. Andrei admits that he currently is without a job, even though he planned to go to truck driving school - at one point, he worked for Elizabeth’s father. Fans were not surprised to hear that Andrei Castravet is concentrating on being a stay-at-home dad while his wife earns the paycheck. Fans have noted that Andrei enjoys spending his father-in-law’s money. People wonder why Andrei can’t get a job of his own.

Last night’s all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? showed a radical side of Andrei’s personality, as he continued to peacock to his family. Andrei wants Elizabeth Potthast's dad to cough up cash for the wedding, although wedding guests will offer the couple cash as gifts, which should cover the entire cost. The couple is getting ready for their upcoming nuptials in Moldova. Moldova is an Eastern European nation. It was previously a Soviet republic and it's situated in a corner of the Balkan region. The country became independent in 1991 but has had a few challenges as it's struggled to set up a constitution. Even though Moldova was characterized as an unhappy place back in 2008, it has come a long way, thanks to an image makeover.

Wedding customs are important to the country and one tradition in the Moldovan culture is that when you get married, guests give you money. There are few or no physical gifts. In the United States, it is usually a taboo for the newlyweds to ask for money but it is a common practice among Moldovans. The amount gifted is based on a certain calculation. For example, it is sometimes based on how much each guest’s food would cost per plate. The guest would double the amount at a minimum. Godparents are expected to give ten times the minimum amount. A luxury 90 Day Fiancê wedding like the one Andrei and Elizabeth are planning could cost around $20,000. However, those cash gifts would likely easily cover the tab.

Andrei would certainly know about this custom since it is safe to say he would have attended a few weddings in his time. So, the question remains... why does he still insist on using Chuck’s money? Even if he was using the money for upfront payments, 90 Day Fiancé viewers can’t picture Andrei paying him back.

Viewers will have to wait for more episodes to see if the wedding even happens since Andrei and Libby have been fighting nonstop. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8 pm EST on TLC.
