Fans have dragged Andrei for his sense of entitlement and attitude, but in a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, they found a whole new reason to criticize him—and it has to do with a double-cross. Andrei can be problematic in many ways, and it’s not surprising that fans regularly take him to task for his words and actions. However, his choice of jewelry is now up for debate too.
Viewers didn’t exactly take a shine to Andrei and his American wife, Libby, when they debuted on 90 Day Fiancé, and they don’t like the 90 Day Fiancé couple any more on Happily Ever After? Most recently, Andrei was roasted for having the nerve to ask his father-in-law for a $100,000 loan and demonstrating that he has a tenuous grasp on the way finances work. As a compromise, Andrei agreed to work with Libby’s father flipping houses, though he’s found a lot to complain about with that arrangement too.
In this week’s episode of Happily Ever After?, Andrei kicked things off by complaining to Libby about how hard it is to have to work for his money instead of just being given it. Once again, 90 Day Fiancé fans mocked Andrei for being lazy and irresponsible, but they also zeroed in on his odd accessory decision. In the episode, Andrei is wearing not one, but two cross necklaces, and fans thought it was overkill. Fans took to Reddit to share their reactions.
It’s one thing to wear religious jewelry. However, two cross necklaces stacked on top of each other is a bit much, and fans had a field day with it. “Don’t terrorize me with your crosses,” one fan joked, referencing Andrei’s famous “don’t terrorize me with your pregnancy” line. “So the protection bonuses stack?” another fan questioned, wondering if Andrei actually believes that wearing multiple crosses will somehow add an extra layer of protection from God.
There are, of course, many other more problematic things about Andrei for fans to criticize. The 90 Day Fiancé star's so-called “alpha male” status has caused major problems for Libby and her family. In this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Andrei is already butting heads with his in-laws, and there appears to be no resolution in sight. Andrei might actually need those double crosses to protect him from his own bad decisions.
