In season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Elizabeth Potthast’s husband Andrei Castravet is being criticized for asking a whopping $100,000 from her father Chuck while having no experience in his new job. Libby and her Moldovan husband, who previously starred in a high voltage season 5 filled with toxic family drama, returned for second helpings and more money demands from Andrei. While TLC viewers may have expected Andrei to become self-reliant after getting a real estate license, they instead saw him mooching off his father-in-law for financial support. Needless to say, fans think that it’s high time 90 Day Fiancé star Andrei, already a franchise villain, to stop using Chuck as a personal bank

The season premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? saw Andrei switch his role from a stay-at-home dad to a future Florida realtor. The move did come across as odd for TLC viewers who saw Andrei wanting to become a competitor for Libby’s own family business. However, Andrei, dreaming of becoming real estate royalty shocked them more by revealing his plan of getting Chuck to fork over a hundred grand. But while Andrei expected his “big dollar sign” FIL to shell out some moolah, the businessman that Chuck is, asked Libby’s husband to work join his family business instead.

While 90 Day Fiancé fans smell foul play in the Andrei-Elizabeth storyline, many think that it may not really be scripted given the former bouncer’s shameless past. Many yawned about watching the same plot as season 5 being rewound again, but Andrei’s quick money-making tactics were ripped to shreds. A Reddit user shared a meme featuring the hilarious King Kong Balls statue of Prague saying it described Andrei and his massive ego “in a nutshell.” The 90 Day Fiancé fan joked that despite not having worked for three years, and having secured his license five minutes ago, Andrei still has the audacity to ask Chuck to lend him $100k for a business he has “zero experience in.”

One 90 Day Fiancé viewer asked the important question, “Why can’t he and Libby just go to the bank and apply for a loan instead of borrowing from Chuck?” but joked that it’s because they don’t plan on paying it back. “The dude has no people skills, how is he even competing?” questioned another TLC fan, while a few other fans wanted to know why Andrei would need the $100k in the first place unless he wanted to flip houses and not really work as an agent. Still, the consensus appears to be that the Andrei and Chuck drama is all part of “a phony storyline” and a fan explained that he even “saw it coming during the last Tell-All.

According to the 90 Day Fiancé fan, “The drama is all manufactured," with Andrei himself being a “revenue stream” for Charlie. Another fan explained that although Andrei may or may not be getting paid by TLC already, the Potthast clan seems to be earning with every appearance they make. Given that the season 6 trailer teased more chaotic fights between Andrei and Elizabeth’s family, the controversies will never end. The Potthast-Castravet drama seems to be caught in an endless loop in the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? universe, but fans are yearning for TLC to press pause on it.
