Former 90 Day Fiancé star Andrei Castravet has bought an expensive ride while facing the possibility of deportation back to his home country, Moldova. The 36-year-old reality star appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7, where he and his wife, Elizabeth Potthast, tried to get his Green Card renewed. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out well after the couple learned that someone may have anonymously filed a complaint to get the Moldovan reality star deported.

Andrei has been enjoying his life in the United States amid the past few months of tense deportation scare. He recently showed off his expensive new car on social media to further show he’s living his American dream. In his latest Instagram post, Andrei posted a video of himself getting into his luxury Chevrolet Camaro and riding into the sunset.

He captioned the video, “We work hard and we play hard,” while mentioning that his neighbors won’t be happy, referring to how loud Camaros can get. While the 90 Day Fiancé star didn’t reveal his car’s model, cost charts show that Camaros can range from $34,000 to $135,000.

While Andrei isn’t the most likable personality on the show, fans were happy to see him thrive in the United States and enjoy a new vehicle. They showered him with compliments and appreciated that he went for a car that suited his personality. An Instagram user wrote, “The beefy Camaro is a BEAST,” and added a fire emoji to convey that Andrei’s new car is awesome. Another user chimed in, “Making your dreams happen,” and applauded the 90 Day Fiancé star for buying a Camaro. However, some fans showed concern that Andrei showed his car’s license plate in the video. But he told his fans not to worry, as he “digitally changed the digits with a special filter.”

Andrei has been a polarizing figure among fans for being abrasive. Over the years, viewers have criticized him for his often aggressive and controlling behavior towards his wife, and his tendency to be dismissive and disrespectful towards others. At the same time, others have talked about how he isn’t responsible and have claimed he’s lazy. Since Andrei has a loud voice and is usually upfront about his emotions, people think he’s short-tempered and consider him the main reason for family issues and all the explosive fights on the show.

Despite his complex personality, Andrei has some fans who defend him and consider him a loving and protective husband. In fact, some viewers find him entertaining for various reasons. Over the years, 90 Day Fiancé fans have enjoyed Andrei’s one-liners and felt he has an extremely memorable TV presence. They thought the TLC star’s drama with his in-laws and the deportation storyline was quite engaging. Earlier, Andrei was labeled as a good-for-nothing, but his recent video shows that whether 90 Day Fiancé viewers hate or love him, he’s making a good living in the United States.
