One of the new couples to enter the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is Ella and Johnny, an American and Chinese couple who will debut on Before The 90 Days season 5.

She is described as having an “obsession” with Asian culture and considers Johnny to be her “Asian prince.” Such a description might remind some viewers of The Other Way personality Deavan Clegg, as American Deavan has an obsession with Korean men and Korean culture. Ella and Johnny are shown to have a fun side, as Ella dressed up in a blonde wig for a call with Johnny in the teaser.

The couple then bonded over video calls and quickly fell in love before the pandemic interfered with their plans to meet up in person.
