New 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star and Russian girl Alina has shocked fans by teasing a possible split from Steven Johnston. Steven and Alina, who met on a language learning app, are all set to get married in Turkey after a year of dating on season 3 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. But within that year, where Steven and Alina barely spent two weeks together, he also asked her for permission to date other girls. In a recent episode, Steven and Alina also had a tiff over him booking separate apartments for them, fearing they’d have “accidental sex.” Is that a reason for Alina possibly breaking up with Steven?
While Steven kept speaking of falling short of the standards of the Mormon church, it took him one episode to spill that he wasn’t a virgin and had past sexual relationships that Alina doesn’t know about. On the other hand, Alina thinks her 90 Day Fiancé beau Steven is a “very religious man." She’s also ready to convert to Mormonism for him before marriage. Fans have been mocking Steven for his secretive ways and for toying with Alina’s feelings after she put her career dreams on hold to be with him. It does look like Alina is discovering that Steven is not who he pretends to be as 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 proceeds further.
Because they’re newbies to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Steven and Alina do not have a large following on Instagram. However, Alina is being appreciated for her make-up skills and travel diaries. Makeup helps Alina express herself and Steven seems to have stopped her from doing so, as per her latest update. “Somebody with a V didn’t really like this photo,” wrote Alina while throwing shade at Steven. “But I think I look good here and it took me a really long time to do this makeup,” Alina said about her futuristic-themed look.
The Chinese language student then addressed her followers directly as she posted, “Girls, don’t let a man decide if you look beautiful or not.” Alina concluded her sassy caption with “🏳️🌈😘.” Fans quickly noticed the bitterness in Alina’s tone towards her American boyfriend. Someone mentioned, “Ooooh i think steVen is in trouble 😈.” A different TLC viewer added, “The caption though 😂🙌 shots fired.” Some fans also informed Alina that they’re starting to dislike Steven, although most TLC viewers already decided there was something sketchy about the Salt Lake City resident when they first saw him.
At the same time, Alina is getting support from her 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way co-stars, such as Evelin Villegas and Kenneth Niedermeier, who said she always looks amazing. But Steven, who usually posts sweet messages for his ladylove on her posts, was conspicuously absent. Fans are now wondering if the couple has gone their separate ways after their wedding or if Steven and Alina had a nasty breakup before making it down the aisle.
