Controversial cast members Steven and Alina Johnston of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 have provided a recent update on their location and whether or not they will return to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise in the future. While fans were fond of Alina, Steven did not make the best impression during the couple's season. Both Steven and Alina moved to Turkey from their home countries of the United States and Russia to be with one another. However, Steven quickly became very demanding of Alina.
Upon arriving in Turkey, Steven informed Alina that the two would be sleeping in different apartments, so that they would not be tempted to sleep together before marriage which would disrespect his Mormon faith. But Steven later revealed that he had lied to Alina about being a virgin, admitting that he had been intimate with about 100 women. Unfortunately, Steven's hypocrisy did not stop there. While the 90 Day Fiancé couple got married at the end of the season, it was revealed by Steven and Alina on the Tell-All that Steven had continued to entertain women romantically on social media, and had even gone as far as messaging fans about having a threesome. Steven's social media activities had been another major issue for the couple during their engagement, with Alina even enlisting a friend to message Steven to see if he would fall for it and respond, which he did.
Recently, Alina posted a Q&A on her Instagram story, to which many fans asked for updates on where the couple was currently residing. One follower asked, "Where are you living now?," to which 90 Day Fiancé star Alina responded that she and Steven are currently living in Antalya, Turkey. Another fan asked Alina what she was looking forward to in the future, to which she joked, "Going to the US and hanging out with you." While Alina and Steven are currently living in Turkey, where they were married, the couple does not plan to remain in the country permanently.
Alina's followers were also eager to know if the couple would return to the franchise. When a fan asked if Alina and Steven would appear on a new 90 Day Fiancé show in the future, Alina replied, "I don't think so." It is likely that the backlash against Steven plays a factor in this, as although fans liked Alina, they found some scenes between the couple difficult to watch, as a result of Steven's many disrespectful actions. For whatever reason, viewers shouldn't expect to see Steven and Alina in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise again.
It is also possible that by taking time away from the show, the couple can work on improving their relationship and focusing on their own pursuits. When Alina appeared on the show, she was only 21 years old, while Steven was 25. Both Alina and Steven are still very young in comparison to many of the other cast members, with Alina having still been a college student during her time on the series. While the relationship between Alina and Steven has certainly been rocky, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans hope that Steven will continue to work on his behavior and their relationship for Alina sake.
