Usman Umar, AKA Sojaboy meeting with Rosa Ree, a very big artist from Tanzania on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, managed to turn his “potential” girlfriend, Kim Menzies, into a version of his ex-wife Lisa Hamme. Usman is currently in Zanzibar, shooting his music video for his new song “Zara” based on a different ex, where Kim is the guest of honor for being his biggest fan. While the San Diego woman wants to make Usman her life partner, the “King of Africa” is taking it slowly, having learned from his past mistakes. It seems that Usman is doing the right thing, especially after 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Kim’s jealous and controlling behavior while he networked with Rosa for nothing but his career.

While Usman was staying with his roommates on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, he was suspected of being a Yahoo Boy by Lisa’s friends. In the current season, Usman is all about his work and furthering the fame that TLC has given him. His manager Badmus and assistant Slam T think Usman being seen in public with “old lady” Kim is bad for his image. They want Usman and Rosa to have “this bond together” instead. Despite wanting to be supportive of his career, Kim referred to Rosa as the “other chick.” Rosa offered to help Usman with his music video dancers, and all Kim could think of was how she looked like the "grandma of the group,” while Rosa is young and pretty. Usman praising Rosa for her “sweet tongue” made Kim jealous, but she also was pleasantly surprised after Usman told Rosa that Kim is a “fan and more” and they could get married if things go well in the future.

Just like everyone watching, Kim too became a fan of Rosa’s sweet demeanor and how comfortable she made her feel by calling the American woman “potential wifey.” After all, Rosa has found her future husband herself apart from being a much bigger star than Usman, having over 2.6 million followers on Instagram currently. According to MadameRap, Rosa, who got engaged to longtime boyfriend, businessman King Petrousse, began doing music professionally in 2015. Her very first hip-hop track called “One Time” was released in October 2015, and she had started rapping at the young age of six. The 26-year-old Rosa, whose full name is Rosary Robert Iwole, was born in Tanzania and later moved to Kenya, where she now has a strong fan base, to study.

Rosa uses the moniker “Rap Goddess” and mostly writes about her life and the experiences she faces. Rosa advocates for the rights of women and has brought about a revolution in the male-dominated rap industry in Tanzania with a goal to change the stereotype. In 2019, Rosa was involved in a controversy after her music video for “Vitamin U” with popular Kenyan singer Timmy T Dat. The song was restricted on YouTube and she was banned by the National Arts Council for six months due to two raunchy scenes in it. But that has certainly not put a full stop on Rosa’s career, and she continues to work on international and local collaborations, perhaps one with 90 Day Fiancé star Usman AKA Sojaboy as well in the future.

Speaking of her amazing appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Rosa says that she had a lot of fun filming for her scene with Usman. “It was a pleasure to be part of an episode,” the “Mulla” singer added. Her followers are very excited to see Rosa on their favorite show. However, some fans do think that Kim treated Rosa a little unfairly by making assumptions about her even before meeting. 90 Day Fiancé has always been a platform via which viewers have discovered music from artists across the globe, such as Yamir Castillio from Myla Vox or the current B90 cast member Alina Kasha. Just like them, Rosa’s music is expected to go beyond borders, so she can show the world what a goddess she really is!
