When 90 Day Bares All season 1 episode 9 celebrated Danielle Jbali’s birthday, we were excited. The series also gave us an update on Melyza Zeta’s love life and had some fun with Caesar Mack, Mike Youngquist, and Ukrainian cuisine. Like most 90 Day Bares All episodes, it was a mixture of lighthearted fun and intense drama. The Discover+ series is one of the all-new 90 Day spin-off series.
Each week, host Shaun Robinson dives deep into the lives of former 90 Day franchise cast members, giving updates and rehashing past relationships and issues. It’s one of the most intriguing 90 Day Fiancé companion series, as it features so many returning cast members. Since 90 Day Bares All is still in its first season, it continues to evolve and change. Of the current episodes available, episode 9 was one of the best so far, because it provided funny, informational, and jaw-dropping moments, including a surprise engagement.
Danielle Jbali
Danielle Jbali sat down with Shaun to discuss her dating life, to promote 90 Day: The Single Life. Danielle appeared in the studio, and her friends Michelle, Lauren, and Lexi joined the conversation via video call. Lexi explained how she and Danielle became friends. Danielle was visiting the city where Lexi lives, so Lexi messaged Danielle on Instagram. She let Danielle know that she lived there, and Danielle invited her out for a drink.
We then saw a segment featuring some Pillow Talk cast members, who watched and discussed a video of Danielle’s wedding to Mohamed Jbali. Tim Malcolm and Veronica Rodriguez and Anny and Robert Springs were among the Pillow Talk stars who gave their commentary. It was basically a lot of people pointing out Mohamed’s awfulness during the wedding. Everyone thought he was using Danielle for a Green Card.
Robinson then asked Danielle if she thought Mohamed loved her. She said that she didn’t think he was mature enough to know what love was at the time. Her friend Lexi then got very real. She stated that she didn’t think Mohamed loved Danielle.
There was a sneak peek of an upcoming 90 Day: The Single Life episode and it showed Danielle on a date with a man named Avon. It was a hilarious clip because Avon is a character, but overall, it was very awkward. Danielle’s interview was entertaining and we got to hear about her sex life. She mentioned dating a guy after Mohamed who wasn’t that good in bed, and she shared that Mohamed was better than the other guy, but not that good.
Caesar Mack & Mike Youngquist
Caesar entered Bares All with a cake for Danielle, in honor of her birthday. He also gave her a free pedicure as part of her birthday present. With Danielle still there to offer commentary, Caesar talked about his former relationship with Maria. Robinson and Caesar discussed how Maria may now be dating Darcey Silva's ex Jesse Meester, who once claimed he was Darcey's "sugar daddy."
Caesar revealed that he let them do whatever they were doing. He said he just distanced himself from the situation. A clip of Jesse talking about it was also shown. Jesse mentioned thinking that the relationship between Caesar and Maria was doomed from the start.
Caesar also shared that he used to send Maria his entire paycheck every two weeks, and he had to do an extra job just to have enough money. He sent her $800 every two weeks for five years. We learned that in those five years, they never had sex. However, Caesar now seems happier than ever and he is done with Maria. He talked about dating other women and how he had a lot of options now.
The Caesar segment then shifted to a fun game between Mike and him, where they tried some Ukrainian cuisine. They tried the dishes Aspic, Holubsti, and Salo. We also got an Uncle Beau segment that included showing Natalie Mordovtseva and Beau’s struggle to understand each other. As well, Caesar, Mike, Debbie Johnson, David Toborowsky, and Beau were shown with makeover filters.
Melyza Zeta & Tim Clarkson
We saw Melyza and Tim get emotional during the rest of their 90 Day Bares All post-breakup interview. The first part showed a very unhealthy picture of their relationship, especially from Tim’s side. Part 2 delved deeper into the turmoil that both of them felt. It was pretty obvious that they still loved each other, and that the breakup was hurting both of them.
Robinson then spoke to Melyza in the present day. Melyza revealed that she and Tim got back together. We then saw a video of Melyze and Tim’s reunion in Medellin. This clip revealed their engagement!
Melyza talked about how Tim proposed on a pier and how happy they are now. Next, Bares All had a short segment like The Newlyweds Game, similar to Love Games. Robinson asked Melyza and Tim questions to see if they could match each other’s answers. They didn’t match all of their answers but it was a cute game. It showed a more lighthearted and loving side of the pair, versus their Bares All interview. It was a good way to end the episode because the proposal shocked everyone, but also made viewers root for the couple.
