Starting a family with Angela Deem is her 90 Day Fiancé husband Michael Ilesanmi’s biggest wish, but Angela already has a pretty large family of her own, with two daughters and six grandchildren. The nursing assistant’s family was first introduced on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2, when Angela was preparing to fly to Nigeria and propose to Michael. Now that Angela is back in Georgia (with a new TLC spin-off and grandkids in tow), fans have found their new favorite (and little) cast members.

While continuing her long-distance marriage with Michael during the pandemic, Angela spent most of her time at home. During that time, 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Angela making all sorts of fun videos with her grandkids. In the clips, she celebrated their birthdays, danced with them, and went on pancake runs. Angela’s followers love seeing her grandchildren, and many of her fans feel that they resemble her. As per 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? previews, Angela’s six grandbabies are going to have much more screen time now, as they tell viewers what their "Meemaw" is really like.

After appearances on shows such as Trisha and Maury, Angela made her debut on TLC with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Back then, Angela recalled how she met Michael on Facebook, after having had a failed first marriage that lasted three years, through which she has two grown daughters, Scottie and Skyla Deem. “I work as a nursing assistant for a hospice, but whatever time I do have, I try to spend with my family,” the Hazlehurst resident confessed on the show. She added, “We’re such a close family and we’re together every day.” At that point, the 90DF star Angela was taking care of her ailing mother, who had cancer. Her mom Glenda Standridge sadly passed away a week after Angela's wedding to Michael.

Angela's Plate Is Very Full

We’re four generations of women all pitching in to take care of each other,” the 90 Day Fiancé star said onscreen, while also noting that it gave her little time for self-care. Those who saw Angela on TV before knew of Scottie and her paternity drama. The first televised argument occurred on Trisha, where Scottie confronted the father of her child, Chris. On Maury, however, it was Angela claiming that Scottie’s new boyfriend Terry was not the one who fathered her other baby, Anna Sky. Then, DNA results proved her wrong. In their second Maury appearance, Angela once again explosively questioned the paternity of Scottie’s baby, Ariah, and accused her of having a baby with a man who wasn’t her boyfriend. The child was said to have kidney problems, and it was revealed that Scottie also lived with that type of health issue.

However, Scottie also made headlines for being in prison for a sex crime against a child. She was released on June 6, 2020, after spending 15 months behind bars. Scottie appears to be in favor of Angela’s marriage to Michael, while Skyla was initially seen as more of an opposing force. A major supporting cast member from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Skyla is a mom to three out of Angela’s six grandkids. When a curious Instagram follower asked Skyla if all the children were hers, she said that three were. She added that three were her sister's. She also said that she and her sibling tell people they have six kids when they're asked.

Is Skyla okay with her mother Angela toting her egg after all this time? Maybe not, but Angela, whose top priority right now is fitness, may come back to Skyla after Michael arrives in America, in order to ask for her help again. For now, the headstrong matriarch Angela appears to be leading her pack with ease. Her grandkids are adorable, so 90 Day Fiancé fans won’t be complaining about seeing them on TLC screens.
