Josh Duggar, of 19 Kids and Counting, has been punished after it was revealed he brought an illegal cellphone into the jail. The former TLC star is currently behind bars after being convicted on child pornography charges. The father of seven has yet to come to terms with his guilt and enjoys breaking the rules.

This week, In Touch reported that Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting's release date had been pushed back by ten days. The 35-year-old was caught with a cell phone inside his cell at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Seagoville in Texas. Josh was meant to be released on August 12, 2032, but now, because of his indiscretion, he will be sent home on August 22, 2032, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons online records.

19 Kids And Counting's Josh Duggar Hates Rules

Just last month, news broke that Josh was placed in solitary confinement at the jail's Special Housing Unit (SHU) for a breach of rules. The prison has a bad reputation for having multiple complaints against the conditions in solitary confinement, which include holding prisoners longer than necessary after DHO hearings, but Josh was placed there anyway. Josh has only just started his 12.5-year jail sentence but has already broken one of the major rules. Josh was first placed in FCI Seagoville in June 2022 after he was found guilty in Arkansas.

Josh has had run-ins with the law before and has shown no interest in following the rules. In 2015 19 Kids and Counting viewers learned that Josh allegedly molested five teenage girls between 2002 and 2003, and two were his sisters. At the time, Jim Bob Duggar tried his best to cover up the incident. In 2021, Josh was found guilty of downloading and possessing child sex abuse images on his work computer. A federal jury found him guilty on one count each of receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh must also pay up to $250,000 in fines for each count.

Anna Duggar, Josh's wife, has been sticking by her husband's side even though family members have urged her to leave the 19 Kids and Counting star. The mother of seven has constantly been rethinking her marriage and still questions what the right decision is. Currently, Josh is appealing his conviction with his lawyers, arguing that the evidence presented by the prosecution used to convict him didn't prove that pornography was found on Josh's computer. Josh is now claiming the material was from his former co-worker.
