Amy Slaton-Halterman, co-star of TLC's 1000-Lb. Sisters, is sharing her love of all things spooky with her son Gage, who recently twinned with his mom in matching The Nightmare Before Christmas outfits. The birth of Gage, who is celebrating nine months in this world, was a true miracle for Amy, who always dreamed of having a baby but couldn't because of her excessive weight. Now that she has a little boy to call her own, Amy is making sure he's not only well-cared-for, but also introduced to some of her favorite Halloween icons like Jack Skellington.

In 1000-Lb. Sisters season 2, Amy's husband Michael Halterman and sister Tammy Slaton watched in fear as Amy experienced multiple health scares during her pregnancy. Though Amy was instructed by her bariatric surgeon Dr. Charles Procter Jr. to wait several years after her weight loss surgery before getting pregnant, she conceived Gage only a few months later. For Amy, it was a struggle to stay healthy while experiencing typical pregnancy cravings for junk food. Amy's diet may have fallen off track, but she gave birth to a happy, healthy bundle of joy. In true Amy fashion, she and Michael named him after the little boy in Stephen King's Pet Sematary who gets killed by a speeding truck and brought back to life by his father.

Ever since the Haltermans became a family of three, Amy's Instagram page has been flooded with adorable pictures of Gage. The latest post (seen below) shows Amy and her baby sporting matching black and white outfits from the classic Tim Burton film The Nightmare Before Christmas. Amy's shorts have tiny Jack Skellington heads all over them. Meanwhile, Gage's onesie features a hood, also with Jack's grinning face. Amy included the hashtag "#twins" in the caption. Based on Amy's Jack Skellington tattoo on her arm, it's clear that The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of her favorite movies, and she wants to pass that love onto her child as early as possible.

The majority of Amy's followers commented on how cute this dynamic duo looks. One fan called Gage the "cutest little squish ever" while others couldn't get over how much he already resembles his father. However, some weren't so nice as they critiqued the messiness of Amy's home and her body. Several shared their opinion that it looks like Amy got heavier after dropping over 100 pounds post-surgery. However, Amy's supporters came to her rescue. They explained that most women gain weight during pregnancy and as a new mom, it's often hard to get back on track right away.

A premiere date has yet to be announced for 1000-Lb. Sisters season 3, but viewers are demanding for a Slaton sisters return to TLC. In fact, their diehard fan base created an online petition for the show's renewal that has garnered over 6,100 signatures. As they impatiently wait for new episodes, fans can keep up with the Slatons on their respective social media pages. As Halloween draws closer, Amy will surely dress Gage in more delightfully haunting ensembles. Regarding Tammy, her followers feared for her life after she posted and then deleted a photo of herself smoking. At the end of season 2, Tammy contracted COVID-19 and was put on oxygen. Ultimately, fans want both sisters to succeed in their respective weight loss journeys, which at its heart, is what 1000-Lb. Sisters is all about.
