1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to relationships. Her love life often comes ahead of her health, leading her to make poor romantic choices. Despite this, it seems like the 36-year-old reality star isn’t giving up on finding her happily ever after. 1000-lb Sisters Tammy, who's dating in rehab, has had her heart broken more than once. Unfortunately, the relationships Tammy found herself in have only taken advantage of her and have negatively impacted her weight loss goals.
Most notably, her long-distance relationship with Jerry Sykes was featured on 1000-lb Sisters but ended disastrously when Tammy realized she wasn’t the only woman in his life. It turns out Jerry was a married man with children back home. After that, she opened her heart up only to get burned once again when Tammy started dating Phillip Redmond, also known as The BBW King, which he says proudly stands for "Big Beautiful Women." Their online romance worried Tammy’s family as they were concerned she would give up on working toward a healthier lifestyle since Phillip, who Tammy's fans called a "feeder," preferred to date larger women. He made it clear from the start that he was only interested in women that were 300 lbs and up.
Tammy’s family and 1000-lb Sisters fans were relieved when her chaotic relationship with Phillip ended. Tammy’s weight affects her health, and she's had one too many close calls that she almost didn’t come back from. According to her, their romance came to a dramatic end when Tammy had to allegedly file a restraining order against Phillip after he was continuously harassing and threatening her. However, Tammy recently uploaded a video to TikTok, hinting that all may be forgiven. Tammy captioned the video, “I love you so much king @thebbwking thank you so much for always being there.” In the TikTok video, Tammy is lip-syncing to the song "Speechless" by Dan + Shay. Tammy, who had many cringey 1000-lb Sisters moments, has yet to acknowledge her relationship status, but if her recent TikTok is any indication, it looks like she may be in love once again.
Tammy Slaton From 1000-lb Sisters May Have Reconnected With Phillip
After everything that happened between Tammy and Phillip, it was a reconnection that some 1000-lb Sisters fans were surprised to see. However, others doubt that the pair ever stopped communicating entirely after their breakup. It is clear Tammy wants to find a loving relationship with someone who accepts her the way she is. As important as that is, her family also wants her to be with someone that will support her toward a healthier lifestyle and encourage her to make better decisions. Tammy is still young and has the potential to turn her life around. She still has the goal of becoming a candidate for bariatric surgery, but it is unclear how that would impact her relationship with Phillip going forward.
Tammy, who doesn't take accountability on 1000-lb Sisters, has struggled with her food addiction and mental health, and in order to go forward, she needs to make herself her number one priority. She is currently in a rehab facility getting the care and proper direction she requires to get her life back on track. Hopefully, if Tammy is in a relationship once again, she can remain focused on her long-term goals toward a happier and healthier life.
