Instead of accepting help, Tammy would throw her anger at those closest to her, often pushing them away.

Usually when a follower would question her behavior, she would have lashed out in an aggressive manner. Instead, Tammy paused, took a sip of her protein drink, and calmly responded. The viewers had asked the star why she always posted videos of herself from the same angle. Tammy Slaton talked in a soft voice as she replied to the question with her own question, asking why it bothered the fan noting, "It's just an angle."
Tammy has been making great strides in her recovery. Recently followers noticed that Queen Tammy had her trach capped, which is usually the last step before it is taken out completely. News also broke that Tammy would be getting her gastric bypass surgery. TLC has yet to confirm another season of 1000-lb Sisters, but Tammy herself hinted that the cameras were up and rolling a few months ago. Tammy's sister Amy has yet to agree to return to the series after giving birth to her second son in July.
