Amy Slaton's weight loss journey on 1000-lb Sisters was motivated by many factors, but the opportunity to give birth to her son Gage was surely the most rewarding result of the bariatric operation. Fans might not always agree with the decisions Amy makes on her reality show, but her Instagram posts that feature Gage are unanimously popular among the television personality's followers. From doting comments to callbacks to Amy's weight loss challenges on season 2, here's everything fans are saying about Gage on Instagram.

For as much love as it garners, Amy's Instagram activity has received its fair share of backlash throughout the entertainer's run on reality TV. Just like she is on 1000-lb Sisters, Amy's an open book on social media. Before Gage was born, Amy frequently shared selfies, photos of her arts and crafts hobby, and pictures with her siblings Tammy Slaton and Chris Combs. After Amy gave birth to the bundle of joy, however, the reality star's Instagram transformed into a Gage fan page. Aside from the occasional selfie, Amy's Instagram is almost entirely made up of pictures of her growing baby boy. Although Amy has received some criticism for laying Gage in dirty beds and dusty floors, most of the baby boy's pictures evoke adoring responses from fans.

Whether Gage is laying in a crib, sprawled across an unkempt bed, or sleeping in Amy's arms, it's a safe bet that the reality television heir is sporting one of his signature onesies. From a festive Father's day themed onesie to a stylish camo onesie, Amy and her husband Michael Halterman have been clever with the outfits they dress their son in. Gage's latest onesie holds a specific reference to 1000-lb Sisters that had Amy's followers talking. On October 11, Amy shared a cherubic picture of Gage, captioned, "Happy 11mo baby boy." Most of the comments expressed fans' love for Gage and noted how the blossoming boy looks like his parents. Some of Amy's followers caught on to the words written across Gage's onesie, which called back to an integral moment in Amy's weight loss journey. In the Instagram post, Gage's onesie read, "Mom thought it was Chinese, Sike!"

Understandably, some of Amy's followers who aren't very familiar with the show were puzzled by Gage's onesie. One fan commented, "What does this shirt mean?" Fortunately, more ardent members of the 1000-lb Sisters fanbase clued Amy's confused followers in on the reference. One commenter explained, "In one of the episodes she went to [the] hospital in lots of pain turns out she ate too much Chinese food... but really it was contractions and having the baby." Another fan added that Amy's hospital trip was significant because the doctor "told her she was pregnant… and to stop eating so much Chinese food." The followers that didn't need any explanation agreed that this is one of Gage's funniest onesies. One fan confessed, "the shirt got me LOLin."

At only 11 months old, Gage is already proving that he is one of the most fashionable members of the Slaton family. On top of claiming tons of affectionate comments, Amy's followers loved the humor that the reality star infused into the baby boy's onesie. Hopefully, Gage will continue to keep fans entertained with his innovative onesies throughout 1000-lb Sisters season 3.
