The reality star has wanted children all her life and received the two best gifts of all in the past couple of years. Now Amy is spoiling her boys with the best Christmas gift a child could ask for.
1000-lb Sisters star Amy lost her dog Little Bit, last year and was heartbroken by his passing. The entire family was attached to Little Bit, including Amy’s sister Tammy Slaton. Amy would regularly take her dog over to visit Aunt Tammy, and the beloved canine frequently appeared on many episodes of 1000-lb Sisters. Bringing a new pet into the family is an exciting moment for all of them. Having a dog that her children, Gage and Glenn Halterman, can grow up with and create lasting memories with is priceless.
Amy Halterman Got Creative This Christmas
Amy shared the Christmas surprise on Instagram and exactly how she introduced the new family pet. She used Dobby, Amy, and her family’s Elf on the Shelf, to reveal the big gift through a handwritten note. Amy captioned the post, “Final day with Dobby!! Dobby got the boy a 2 1/2 year old Chihuahua Pomeranian named Daisy Mae!! I’m sure the boy will love her as we loved little but!!” Many of her followers criticized her caption and were frustrated that her post only mentioned one of her boys. However, others understood that it was a typo and that the new dog was for both Gage and Glenn. Overall, fans loved that Amy gifted her sons with such a heartwarming and thoughtful surprise.
