The Bachelorette star Josh Seiter’s Instagram updates suggest he wants to be with 1000-Lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton amid her divorce from her husband, Michael Halterman. The 35-year-old Dixon woman is most known for her appearance on the popular TLC reality TV show, where she transformed her body by dropping over 125 pounds. Not only that, but Amy also became a mom and welcomed two kids. Despite improving her life for the better, Amy recently hit a roadblock when Michael filed for divorce. The former couple was married for over four years before the Kentucky man ended the relationship due to what seems to be marital issues.
While 1000-Lb Sisters' Amy Slaton has been going through her divorce, The Bachelorette alum Josh decided to ease her pain with goodies. In his recent Instagram Stories, Josh shared a screenshot of his gifts for Amy, including candies, soft toys, flowers, and an envelope named “Amy." This comes on the heels of Josh posting a headline on Instagram that mentioned he wanted to date Amy.
In another Instagram Story, Josh shared a caption suggesting he was heading to Amy’s hometown of Dixon. The following Instagram Story showed Josh determined to travel to Amy, regardless of the rainy weather. He captioned it, “Rain or Shine, I’m Comin.”

Josh also shared a screenshot of Amy and Michael’s domestic abuse news, stating that he won’t let something like that happen to Amy again. Unfortunately, Josh’s remarks might not receive a welcome reception online as he has popularized himself as someone who always shows interest in dating popular reality TV celebrities. Over the last several months, he has been involved with various people, especially from other TLC shows such as 90 Day Fiancé. Some women he previously pursued include Yolanda Leak, Karine Staehle, Rosemarie Vega, and Yve Arellano.
Despite being eliminated from The Bachelorette early on, Josh has made a comeback by becoming one of the most relevant names from the show. However, it is disappointing how he uses different tricks to stay relevant on social media. Josh seems to have malicious intent for dating popular women and using them as a way to stay in the limelight. Last time, he dated Karine when she split from Paul Staehle and made headlines due to her child custody case. Now Josh hopes to be with Amy, despite knowing her current situation.
Still, it is probably a good sign that Amy hasn’t yet posted any updates about meeting Josh. Hopefully, the 1000-Lb Sisters star sees through Josh and sends him and his gifts back to Chicago. If not, she should at least not get into a relationship with the 35-year-old reality star at the moment. There is also a slight possibility that Amy and Josh have no plans to meet. Josh is popular for milking his reputation on social media by making up stories and stirring up drama. Therefore, he could be doing just that by faking a meetup with the 1000-Lb Sisters cast member.
