Sometimes the movie or show's entire plot revolves around the lovable tykes or they play a big role. Let's look at some of the best onscreen babies in TV or movies and why they deserve a spot on this list.

Tommy Pickles - Rugrats (1991-2004)

Tommy Pickles is the fearless and unquestioned leader of his group of similarly aged babies. In Rugrats, Tommy is the star of the show, simply because of his wild imagination and ability to turn a boring day into an adventure-filled mission.

He's smart, he's loyal to his friends, and he's arguably the most adorable cartoon baby of all time. We could make a case all of his friends should make their way on this list, but we all know they couldn't do what they do without Tommy.

Stewie Griffin - Family Guy (1999-)

When it comes to his sense of adventure and resourcefulness, Stewie from Family Guy and Tommy share that in common, but that's where the comparisons end. As a raunchier and more adult show, Stewie is more blunt, violent, and his adult humor is better for laughs among an older audience.

Stewie may be the youngest in the Griffin family but is by far the smartest, constantly creating gadgets or off-the-wall inventions like a time machine. It's safe to say that he has some potential once he grows up.

Baby Yoda - The Mandalorian (2019-)
