The James Bond franchise would be nothing without Agent 007's love interests and close female associates, often dubbed "Bond Girls." There have been numerous Bond Girls throughout the franchise's 60-year history. Unfortunately, bad things tend to happen to anyone who gets too close to the charming British spy.

Andrea Anders (The Man With The Golden Gun)

Andrea was the mistress of the world-famous assassin, Fransisco Scaramanga. She wasn't happy. Not only didn't she love him but she also considered him a psycho due to his numerous kills. Sadly, she couldn't leave him because if she did, he would kill her too. Seeking alternative ways, she sent notes to Bond, hoping that he'd deal with the assassin.

After meeting with Bond, she went back to Scaramanga. However, the Bond villain became suspicious about where she had been and shot her. She never really got to see Bond take care of her 'Scaramanga' problem.

The following day, she and Bond attended a party hosted by Greene. There, Greene's henchmen targeted her and followed her back to her hotel room. They then drowned her in crude oil in an effort to misdirect MI6 and make them think Greene had interests in the old industry. In reality, he wanted to control Bolivia's water supply.

Plenty O'Toole (Diamonds Are Forever)
