How To Find Field Guide Pages

There are 5 different ways to gather field guide pages, each of which requires learning a new spell in order to reveal their location and gather them. In order of when each spell is learned the methods to obtain them are:

Hidden Revelio Field Guide Pagesrevelio field guide pages in the collections menu in hogwarts legacy

These are the first types of pages that are revealed to players as they enter the school in the initial tutorial. These pages are listed in the Collections menu under the Revelio pages tab. Casting Revelio will produce an audible ding that gets louder the closer the player is to the page location. If using a controller the vibration is another way to hone in on their location, the stronger the vibration the closer you are; controllers will also vibrate stronger on one side if the page is in that direction.

A yellow outline will reveal their exact location when casting Revelio nearby. Once the player is very close and cast Revelio again, the page will become visible and can now be added to the catalog.

Moth Painting Field Guide PagesLUMOS 2

Moth Paintings can be completed right away and do not require completing the side quest: Like a Moth to A Flame from Lenora Everleigh in the Central Hall of the Library Annex. However, doing so will provide 180 XP so it's worth it to complete to help level up.

Players must cast Lumos in front of the empty painting to reveal the painting of a nearby location. Casting Revelio can highlight the location of the Moth when close.

LUMOS

Cast Lumos (turning on the light) to make the moth circle the players wand thus following the player as they return the moth back to the original painting. Casting Lumos, or any other spell, will cause the Moth to go into the slot under the painting and a field guide will appear. The original painting will disappear and the player can collect the Field Guide page.

Levioso Statue Field Guide Pages

There are statues of a person holding an orb above their head, pointing a wand up at it. Typically these are placed in corners and out of sight. They have a distinct silhouette when casting Revelio to make spotting them easier. Players must cast Levioso on them to make the statue disappear and reveal the Field Guide Page and collect it.

Flying Field Guide Pages

Flying Pages can typically be seen flying in the air above the player. They will fly patrolling a specific path that repeats. Aim at them and when they become highlighted, cast Accio to obtain them.

Dragon Brazier Field Guide Pages

There are a couple of ways we've seen these Field Guide Pages hiding: the first is the pedestal and basin with a Dragon around it, and the second is a wall sconce with a basin and Dragon. Both of these require a fire spell, such as Confringo, which can be cast at further targets and/or Incendio for those that are closer. Lighting these Braziers will cause them to disappear and reveal a Field Guide Page.
