I love the RE movies! IMO they are the best zombie flicks out there considering the crap they made in the 80′s.

28days and weeks later were okay but as a person who never played the games & horror movie buff, ALICE ROCKS!

I can’t get over the fact RE2 was dreadful however I thought 3 injected more than a little hope into the franchise. Point being I’d check out RE4 for that reason alone, plus Ms Jovovich is beautiful which always helps : )

Is it just me that feels oddly troubled when the 28 Days/Weeks films get called Zombie flicks (no offence RastaZen)?

WWZ was an excellent book, but I’m not entirely sure how Hollywood can do it justice. Of course, having JMS write the treatment is an excellent start.

I GOT IT! They’ll do REIV by having Wesker beating the snot out of Alice and showing the third movie to be nothing more than a simulation for a tyrant program (alice being meant to be used for a tyrant control program wich is why she could control nemisis) They then decide to base the rest of the movie on the best game of the whole series…REIV.

As WWZ, that sounds more interesting than seeing one of my faborite game series going down in flames.

They messed up the resi franchise right from the beginning by switching story and chars. But even tho every movie had great visuals that kept me thinking this is resi….deep inside, the charackter of Milla brought me right back out again. Then the second movie….why make her a superhuman Lara Croft?…just why? this was the end of the movie franchise for me. Up until the church szene (i think everyone remembers this one)…I was not angry about the story change, lets just say i had to get used to it. But this made me almost puke my popcorn on the row in front of me.
Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine in the second movie was good, made me which they reshot the first one with her as lead. Then again I only saw it dubbed, so no clue how her performance was in english (we usualy have very talented Dubbing artist here).

They could have made a live action movie out of every game so far. The resifranchise is so rich on Story and depth …i have no idea how the choose not to. Now a fourth one?
They made the third installment mad max style to show everyone that earth is a desert now……where they wanna go from here? usualy it ends up in space =/

World War Z was probably the funnest book I ever read. Definitely a page turner. It’s also one of the very few books that’s better as an Audio Book (they had numerous voice actors with different accents; it was moody and very freaking scary)

I really do recommend it to anyone, even if you don’t like reading or zombies. It was a great and scary experience.

I’m interested to see how they do it in a movie. Maybe they’ll make a documentary type of thing. But if they go with a stupid hollywood formula for zombie movies, it’s done.

Man I hope this will be good.

Jesus. If the last Two RE films weren’t enough to cancel the franchise maybe this one will do it. Im all for seeing Mila Jovovich but pffft to this. World War Z. LOL give me a break. I’d rather see the official Left 4 Dead movie get green lit than another resident Evil film.

WWZ sounds very cool.
I’m not a huge fan of zombie flicks but WWZ does sound like a fun movie.

The two zombie movies I have actually really liked are Shaun Of The Dead and 28 Weeks Later.

So tell me , Zombie fans….. where would you place SOTD or 28WL on your list of fav zombie flcks ? do they even make your list ?
have any of you zombiephiles ( is that a word ? ) read WWZ ? is it good ?
