Their unwavering quest for greatness sometimes makes them seem defiant but they have a big heart and an undying hero complex. Let's look at our favorite movies and find our favorite Leos.

Rey - Star Wars Saga

Daisy Ridley as Rey in Star Wars Rise of Skywalker

Rey came unto the scene in the 7th installment of Star Wars as the main protagonist of the latest trilogy. She became an instant fan favorite when it was revealed she was force-sensitive and the last hope for the Jedi.

Like any Leo, Rey was anxious to jump into things, even when it was too dangerous or difficult. She had great confidence in herself throughout and she committed to being the best Jedi she could be no matter how difficult it was. She put her friends' lives in front of hers and risked her life to save them on several occasions.

Harry Potter - Harry Potter Franchise

The boy who lived was born July 31st which makes him a perfect Leo. Harry had a talent for defiance and trouble and probably dealt with some of the craziest things in his life before he could even legally drink. Harry was always at the forefront of magical dilemmas, leading the charge against Voldemort and saving the world time and time again.

He was a very proficient wizard, excelling in spells way beyond his years and even becoming a successful Auror in adulthood. He was the unquestioned leader of an army and the trio, displaying natural leadership skills despite his reluctance.

Lois Lane - DCEU

Born August 18th, Lois Lane has become a staple to DC as much as her Super-powered beau. She's always chasing the story, looking for the truth and exposing the bad guys. She can be reckless and impatient, but that's what made her a successful reporter and one that's caught our favorite Kryptonian's eye.

She may not have any superpowers or fancy costumes, but she is just as responsible for shining a light on the crime of Metropolis. She's no damsel in distress and will never admit she's wrong, all strong Leo qualities.

Danny Zuko - Grease (1978)

Sandy and Danny from Grease

Danny is used to getting what he wants. He's the leader of his group, he's got the prettiest girl in school wrapped around his finger, it all seems to going well for him. He comes off as arrogant and selfish, but deep down he has a burning love for Sandy even if he doesn't show it.

Danny is a Leo because he seems to excel at everything, and any outfit he wears just looks good on him. The T-birds undying loyalty for Danny proves he's also a great and charismatic leader.

Black Canary - DCEU

She's beautiful, she's confident, and she's got all eyes on her, a perfect representation of a Leo. Dinah is used to the spotlight with her killing vocals and unique sense of style, she looks good in just about anything she wears.

Although she was reluctant to be a part of a team, she still did a great job taking lead and becoming a very adept leader and team member. Although we've only gotten one appearance form here, we're hoping to see more in the future.

Bugs Bunny - Space Jam/Looney Tunes

Space Jam Bugs Bunny

Arguably one of the most well-known cartoons of all time, Bugs Bunny has swagger, confidence, and he loves being the center of attention. Appearing in several movies and shows, Bugs always finds a way to steal the show.

He's charismatic, he's hilarious, and he loves being in the spotlight. Whether it be humiliating his fellow Looney Tunes or outsmarting everyone, Bugs is always having the time of his life.

Simba - Lion King (1994)

Simba from The Lion King

Of course, the literal king of the jungle matches his zodiac mascot. Since he was a cub, Simbas has always had high expectations for himself, and his youthful arrogance usually got him in trouble and in way over his head.

As he grew older he did lose the passion, but it all it took was some convincing to get him to run back and save his pride and take what's rightfully his. Even after he was a well-established king he ruled with fairness and justice.

Thor Odinson - MCU

Starting off showing the worst Leo qualities like arrogance, stubbornness, and self-centered attitude, Thor quickly became a great hero and Avenger. As his time in the MCU progressed, Thor showed more positive Leo signs like his bravery, his passion for winning, and his leadership skills.

Ginny Weasley - Harry Potter Franchise

Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley in Harry Potter

It's no wonder Harry was so into Ginny. Ginny Weasley was a character that suffered a lot of changes from her book counterpart which really cut into her personality. Ginny is the only girl in the Weasley clan so she always had to work for attention and she was used to fighting with the boys so nothing could scare her.

She was a great student, wizard, quidditch player, and friend. She's fearless, a little bit arrogant, and later on a great mother and wife to Harry. The movies didn't do her justice but at least highlighted her Leo qualities.

Rod Kimble - Hot Rod (2007)

Topping off our list is one of the lesser-known characters on this list but nonetheless a try Leo. Rod Kimble was an amateur stuntman with all the heart and bravery, just lacking the skills of a true stuntman.

He didn't let that stop him as he continued to work at it and eventually become a respectable stuntman, worthy of his stepdad's respect and worthy of his girl next door. When the whole world was against him, he kept at it and managed to achieve his goals in the end.
