dont like way he speaks. all wrong. too much emotion. slightly worried about movie.

its strange, ive been so excited for this movie…but as we get closer im starting to think it might have been a bad idea….cant wait to find out.

Well that looked pretty damn cool to me. Felt the paranoia and relentless personality of Roschach came across well. Liked the look.

If I remember right, of course Rorschach has to disguise his voice, when you find out who he is, you’ve been hearing him yell about the end of the world for the first half of the comic!

The morphing on the mask is the whole point of Rorschach’s costume. The “Rorchach” test is often referred to as the ink blot test; where you see an ink blot on paper and let your mind decipher what you see. That is where the character derived his name.

The mask itself has a back story which originated in his youth…..and each frame in graphic novel shows a different variation of his face.

Actually, the voice didn’t bother me, because that’s about the way I’d expect the character to sound. He’s an uber-paranoid nutcase. Why wouldn’t he try to disguise his voice? Yes, it wouldn’t be necessary in his case, but I doubt someone with his mindset would see it that way.

I must admit that this clip does look good. Definitely liking it better than the clip of the prison fight. My only complaint is the weird morphing on that mask. That just seems unnecessary and distracting.

Wow……I definitely like the style. Very dark and brooding. I’m OK with Rorschach’s voice too. It fits. I’m looking forward to this film. I think it may change the way the rest of the world looks at graphic novels forever.

Zach Snyder presents: some chump (YET AGAIN IN ANOTHER MOVIE TRAILER) talking like BATMAN just to make his lil mooby dramatic. I certainly hope this voice isn’t actually all through the movie, or they can keep it. Listening to it from BATMAN was enough, but I could take it because I knew the character was talking that way to disguise his real voice. What’s this clown’s excuse?

If there’s going to be rape and all that, I really hope that they don’t edit that line in the film. That first few pages of The Watchment will be emdedded in my memory for the rest of my life– and if Rorschach doesn’t say “Whores and politicians,” I’ll be a little disappointed.

Though, I have high hopes. The original trailer just said “And all the people” or something like that. This one added “Politicians” — so maybe it’s just for safe viewin’.

Friend of mine with children just saw the ads and didn’t know anything about the graphic novel. She knew I was big on comics and asked what it was about; before I told her, she was going to take her ( very young ) children to what seemed like another comicbook movie!

aaahhhh i want to see mooorrrre!!! this got me SO pumped… i read the graphic novel the second i found out this movie was filming… so now im ecstatic for next friday!
