Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is the latest free-to-play digital incarnation of the classic TCG, and duelists can earn rewards by playing Ranked Duels with the Duel Pass. The Duel Pass is Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s version of a Battle Pass, and, like other games with Battle Passes, the Duel Pass rewards players with in-game Gems, Craft Points, and cosmetics. Players have the choice between a Normal Duel Pass and a Gold Duel Pass. The Normal Duel Pass is given to players automatically and is completely free, while the Gold Duel Pass is available for purchase in the shop with in-game Gems.

The Normal Duel Pass in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel grants players rewards up to level 50, while the Gold Pass allows Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel players to earn rewards all the way up to level 100. Each Duel Pass lasts about 70 to 80 days, giving players roughly two months to complete their Duel Pass before it expires. Players will also have 30 days to claim their rewards after the Duel Pass expires, and any rewards left unclaimed will be gifted automatically once players open the Duel Pass page again. Any rewards that don’t fit in the player’s inventory will be sent straight to the Gift Box, which can be accessed from the main menu. The first Duel Pass will end on April 3, 2022.

The Gold Pass costs 600 Gems and is limited to one per account, but players can quickly earn Gems by completing the tutorial, playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s Solo Mode, finishing missions, or competing in Ranked Duels. The tutorial alone rewards players with 500 Gems, making it easy for new, returning, and current duelists to get into the game and start earning rewards right away. Additionally, completing the Gold Pass will earn players a total of 600 Gems, so the Pass can pay for itself if players make it to level 100 before it ends.

How To Level Up The Duel Pass In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Level up the Duel Pass by competing in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Ranked Duels.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel rewards players with Duel Pass Points for every Ranked or Event Duel they participate in. Winning a match will earn duelists 120 Duel Pass Points, but players who lose the match will still earn between 50 and 100 Points just for playing. Players will be able to easily reach the Gold Pass’ 100th level by playing a handful of Ranked Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Duels each day, though Duel Pass Points cannot be earned while playing Solo mode or spectating. However, these modes provide a great chance for players to hone their dueling skills and are great ways to earn Gems quickly. As players reach higher and higher levels, it will take more Duel Pass Points to level up. This level breakdown appears below:

  • Level 2-10: 50 Points
  • Level 11-15: 60 Points
  • Level 16-20: 70 Points
  • Level 21-25: 80 Points
  • Level 26-30: 90 Points
  • Level 31 and above: 100 Points

All Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Duel Pass Rewards

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Gold Pass grants more rewards than the Normal Pass.

With each level gained on Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s Duel Pass, players will earn Gems, Craft Points, and special cosmetics to add to their account. While the Gold Pass allows players to earn more rewards per level, they will also be able to earn those rewards once they purchase the Gold Pass even if they’ve claimed the rewards from the Normal Battle Pass already. This gives players who are new to the game or unsure if they want to purchase the Gold Pass the chance to get acquainted with the game’s mechanics first and spend their Gems on new packs and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel structure decks instead, then go back and buy the Gold Pass later to claim the additional rewards.

The Normal Duel Pass rewards include:

  • 190 Gems
  • 30 Ultra Rare Craft Points
  • 30 Super Rare Craft Points
  • 30 Rare Craft Points
  • 27 Normal Craft Points
  • Upstart Goblin Icon (level 50 reward)

The Gold Duel Pass rewards include:

  • 600 Gems
  • 100 Ultra Rare Craft Points
  • 100 Super Rare Craft Points
  • 80 Rare Craft Points
  • 68 Normal Craft Points
  • El Shaddoll Monster Art wallpaper (level 50 reward)
  • Pot of Greed Mate (level 100 reward)
