well they do make 2d films of classic cartoons, its called Direct to DVD ……and the humor cannot begin to compare to the Classics. Watch Tom and Jerry Tales or whichever new sccoby 2d movie they kep relasin.

I think that they should leave this character on the small and completely animated screen altogether because mixing real life with the character ruins the originality and magic of the childhood show we all know and love. Putting cartoons inside a real life isn't what people want. I used to love Alvin and the Chipmunks as a child but hated the featured film in the theatres and so did all of my friends. PLEASE make it an original, wonderful film of Yogi the bear and his great sidekick Booboo!

I think it should be done in 2D,and the artists should go back to the 1950's styles and colors used back then.”Modern” studios doing remakes of the Golden days of animation (1940,s 1950's) just dosnt work for me.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I am 52 and love Yogi and Boo Boo (and all the other characters too). BTW, I also loved Alvin & the Chipmunks, Scooby, and Garfield. Bring it on. Maybe I will have a grandchild by then! Either way, I am going.

Love Yogi Bear so I’ll be there (with 8-yr old daughter in tow) to either heap tons of acceptance or loads of anger and frustration upon it.

BTW – I liked Alvin & the Chipmunks … thought it was fun.
Liked the Scooby-Doo movies as well … for what they were. The guy who played Shaggy was spot-on.
