WARNING! Potential Spoilers for Wolverine #3 below.

Wolverine's known for sporting his iconic mask and costume paired with his incredibly strong Adamantium claws. Not only does Logan look cool, but he's an absolute beast on the battlefield. However, in an upcoming issue of his current ongoing series, Wolverine is getting a new helmet upgrade that's ripped right from one of the X-Men's biggest supervillains, Magneto.

Wolverine's solo journey has been filled with personal torment, as he's been having hallucinations of killing his fellow X-Men heroes and has fallen under the control of the Pale Girl, a new mutant villain who seems to be working with the Flower Cartel - who have stolen Krakoa's miracle drugs and dispersed them as a drug on the streets. While Wolverine simultaneously tries to figure out the ongoing criminal conspiracy, as well as fight against the control of the Pale Girl, he'll find himself in a powerful new helmet.

BleedingCool.com shared an image from Wolverine #3 by Benjamin Percy and Adam Kubert, where the clawed mutant is wearing Magento's power dampening helmet. There's little context provided behind the image, besides a grizzly Wolverine wearing the iconic headgear. Here's a look at the grainy image.

Wolverine Bleeding Cool

With Magneto living on the mutant nation of Krakoa, he doesn't pose nearly the same threat (at least on the surface) to Wolverine as he would previously. It's more likely (and somewhat obvious) that Wolverine borrowed the former supervillain's helmet in an effort to damper the effect of the Pale Girl's control. While there's isn't a lot of information out about the mysterious new villain, she clearly possesses some significant power to control who she pleases, as she made Wolverine kill his own sea captain in issue 2. Wearing the helmet will allow Logan to investigate what exactly is going on and how to best combat the new mutant. It wouldn't be his worst plan ever - even if he had to wear Magneto's helmet.

  • WOLVERINE DIGS IN! The Flower Cartel and the Pale Girl seem to be one step ahead of Wolverine, but he has a plan. It's a risky gamble that will take him into the heart of a larger criminal conspiracy even as it puts many mutant lives at risk. Parental Advisory
